YourTopBrands, where'd the offers go?

checked out YTB.com today and they've gone from a TON of offers to about six.

Any thoughts on that?

So the few of us that are STILL waiting for
our gifts I wonder if we are all out of luck....
I have 3 gifts that are still "confirmed waiting for
shipment". Anyone else have any insight on this?

Re: YourTopBrands, where'd the offers go?

eh, I won't speculate as I am in the same boat as mariners with 3 confirmed to be shipped and another one in progress. Sometimes they do this, they update their offers, getting rid of some and later adding others. Another sister site was just found on another message board, so I don't think that they are packing up and shutting down. Not to say that I am going to start another one just yet though.

I had emailed them last week regarding my "confirmed to be shipped" dated 11/22 and what they told me is that the claims dept. "strives to get them out within 6-8 weeks" (or something like that) and they apologized for any inconvenience.

I'm working on a manual credit w/them right now for a $500 Amer Express card.

Re: YourTopBrands, where'd the offers go?

I just mailed a voucher in yesterday for a 650 GC. How long do they ususally take to update your status page to "Confirmed to be shipped"?

Re: YourTopBrands, where'd the offers go?

you have to send them a message after it gets there for them to change it to confirmed to be shipped

I didn't have to do that, it just changed from received info (or whatever it said) to 'confirmed to be shipped', then I contacted them and asked how long to ship, they said, hopefully, 6-8 weeks.

Not surprising RTS, not surprising at all ... you've got to stay on all of these folks, give 'em an inch, they'll take a mile (or two).

Re: YourTopBrands, where'd the offers go?

I called YTB yesterday about the offers leaving the site. They informed me that they are just updating their site. I don't know how reliable that statement is but I guess we will see.

Re: YourTopBrands, where'd the offers go?

Even if they are downsizing so to speak if any of you have gifts confirmed to be shipped I wouldn't worry too much about it. I believe they will still fulfill the gift they've promised you. I am still waiting on gifts from Sept/Oct & Nov. However, I have faith they will eventually send them. Heck, I just received one of my gifts from June a month ago.
