What ruins your argument of ''perpetual growth'' is that not everyone wants to build a downline, some join for the products, some to retail a bit and some just plain quit.
The opportunity to build a downline/business is still the same for everyone though; not everyone will take that opportunity. Bit like everything else in life really.

While there are people out there who are not interested in building a downline but are interested in using the products and/or retailing, your saturation/perpetual growth argument holds no water (pun intended).

So Skeptical's numbers are realisitic, meaning everyone one the planet would be in Amway in some form in 26 months?

Market saturation is like gravity. It doesn't matter whether you believe in it or not, it's real.

Well, a simple question will explain the ''saturation theory'' to you. Amway has been in existence for well over 50 years now, its still growing every year, so the question is: ''is everyone on the planet involved with Amway as a distributor or a customer''?

But growing in foreign countries where the name reputation hasn't yet been tarnished to a point where people think
Amway = Scam.

Re: Anti MLM'ers speak up and be heard

How many countries was Enron in at it's prime? Like 40, at least.

Using MLMr logic, if it is in business in multiple countries and shows revenue growth, then it is NOT a scam.

I'm going to start contacting all the old ladies in Texas who lost their retirements due to the Enron scam and tell them it was all a big misunderstanding, and that MLMrs have determined they were not scammed after all!

I assume all the money they lost will then magically materialize before them. Again, this world of MLM is a magical and fatastical one...

One more thing, Amway is a US company yes?

America's reputation 'out there', ain't what it once was, you'd think America's bad rep would include it's business offerings too?!

MLM seems to be a big draw in the rest of the world regardless. The 'slow growth' in America for MLM/DS is the 'fault' of the cynical, oversold marketplace. IMO

Business 'opportunity' swirls around Americans like so much confetti. Americans are grossly 'oversold' IMO.

Don't you think those market dynamics would have something to do with the general growth and acceptance of DS 'out there' in the rest of the world?

I certainly do.

It's a BIG world out there...lots of 'markets' to develop & 'exploit', for ALL business.

The 'players' are focusing on China right now as far as I can tell...virgin territory w/TONS of eager consumers clamoring for 'American' products & technology...JMO

We've already covered this and there is no need to do it again. Do you ever contribute anything of substance on this board?
