Yes, I have more information on IBOM than you'll probably want to know...Are they a scam? I don't think so. Do they APPEAR to be a scam? Yes, I suspect so -- to people who don't really understand the underbelly of the Global financial markets. Personally, I don't think they're a scam. IF you have money in IBOM, it was converted into Bougainville Kina (BVK). Study history of Bougainville Island and the struggle for Meekamui independence. IBOM started in the late 90s when (now) King David Peii (2) says he got a calling from God to help redistribute British Colonial wealth in the Northern Solomon Islands. In about 12-14 years, he has created a bank and a currency...obtained freedom for an indigenous people AND he's confiscated two of the Brits' better Far Eastern mining enterprises in the fray. Bougainville Copper is one of the largest copper mines in that part of the world, and when it comes back online you'll see the copper spot price drop. IBOM is tied to this. It's also tied to GOLD. Look at the CBOM website and do the conversions from BVK to USD to GOLD. They've got that much backing them up! Think the Brits might want to trash them as much as possible? Maybe so. As far as getting your money out of IBOM, the BVK is in the process (supposedly) of going live worldwide soon. I'm told it's gone live on Bougainville Island and the banks in the region are accepting it. It's 4 to 1 with the USD right now -- but there's speculation that may drop to 2 to 1 very soon. Getting money OUT of IBOM has been a challenge, at best and we're not there yet (been working on this for months now). But I think I see light at the end of the tunnel here and I don't hear an oncoming train.
