SCAM ALERT!, Diploma Company

UPDATE - I just found this update from Scam Patrol and want to share with others...

NATION-WIDE SCAM ALERT! another BIG FRAUD! Scam Patrol International recently completed a nine month investigation of 23 fake diploma mill companies and issues our report at the below link. However at that time the jury was still out on a company called THE DIPLOMA COMPANY which solicits business around the world at

We now add the Diploma Company to the growing lists of internet scams that take your money and provide nothing but anger, grief, and financial loss.

However, we congratulate the Diploma Company for their elaborate creativity in duping the public with paid testimonials, an 800 number, credit card processing, live chat from a "customer service rep", and even their own fake diploma review website (run under a fictitious name) that off course, rates their company as "the best" and "No 1". All of these clever tricks is designed to make their scam look more believable, and yes, people are falling for it!

Unfortunately YOU WILL RECEIVE NOTHING FROM THE DIPLOMA COMPANY OTHER THAN AN ORDER NUMBER which look very real but which is only designed to keep you from stopping payment on your order long enough until your payment clears.
Further, this diploma company scams you for even more money than the others by charging you extra for everything from "authentic seals", "Fedex delivery", etc. so that when they do swindle you, they get more from you than the others listed at this link:

If you send them payment you will join the list of 872 victims that have already come forward.

The is now under investigation by the FTC, and we have recently forwarded their details to the FBI and the Attorney General's office.

We personally documented the fraud over the last 6 weeks with our own order for a diploma from Purdue University and after we confirmed that they processed our payment for $303, we waited for a delivery that has not come yet in six weeks even though we paid for express delivery by FEDEX.

So thus far there simply is no company willing to break state and federal law that will send you a realistic fake diploma that does not contain watermarks, printing, or stickers, that says "THIS IS NOT A GENUINE DOCUMENT" or "REPLICA DOCUMENT" nor signatures of any real human being.

If you really want a fake diploma, you will not find it on the internet from ANY company in America.

Re: SCAM ALERT!, Diploma Compa

This report is totally bogus. It's not even well thought-out. Where is the scam?

Diploma Company accepts credit cards payments on a secure site and sells novelty diplomas. They wouldn't be able to accept credit cards if they just stole peoples' money, the credit card companies would drop them. Everybody knows that.

Also, novelty diplomas are not illegal to buy and sell in the United States. There are some illegal things you could do with them, but how is that different from buying a gun? If it were illegal, they wouldn't have been allowed to accept payments in the first place.

The real scam are sites like that only accept cash payments, like Western Union or Money Gram. They can take your money and not ship you anything with absolutely no consequences.

You also may say the review sites are fake, but here is one with actual PROOF OF DELIVERY from all of the major sites, including Diploma Company and shady ND-Center:

As far as 872 victims reported. That is totally ridiculous. How would visa allow them to continue processing payments if 872 "victims" had reported them.

Re: SCAM ALERT!, Diploma Compa

I'm confused. Are these "novelty diplomas"? Or are they being promoted as "real" documents? I'm certainly not looking to be scammed. But I am simply curious.
