Is "studentpay.com" a scam?

Hello, I'm Tetsu, pleased to meet ya!

Anyway, I'm a college student who doesn't have alot of money and found an eye-catching ad on one of the bulletin boards in my creative writing class.

It offered up to $750 a week for "Easy Online Work", and to check out their site at http://www.studentpay.com/ .
Honestly, it looks pretty suspicious, and I thought I should ask some people who know how to spot a scam what they think before I do something stupid.

Re: Is "studentpay.com" a scam?

That is a bare bones site, no owner's name, street address, terms of use or privacy policy.

Click on 'Contact' at the bottom of that one lone page and you are redirected to
http://profitsdesk.com/?sponsor=circulars

Payment is by paypal and clickbank.

Paypal can only get your money back if there is money left in the owner's paypal-linked bank account. Scammers know this and will immediately withdrawal your money. No money in the account means absolutely no possibility of refund for you.

Clickbank will only give a refund under very specific criteria.
Quote:
ClickBank will, at its discretion, allow for the return or replacement of any defective product within 60 days from the date of purchase. For more detail see our return policy.
Non-tangible goods such as ebooks, downloads, access to a site/videos, training, mentoring and advice are not eligible. Nor are any of those eligible for refunds from your credit card company for the same reason, non-tangible goods.

Looks like you are paying for some kind of access to something that will probably list "work at home companies". Whether or not those companies are actually hiring is unknown. Whether or not those companies are even "work at home" companies is unknown. You could be paying for access to a bunch of 'opportunities' such as multi-level marketing or pay-more-for-access to some other sites.
