Info on LogoWear Direct

I have received information from LogoWear Direct on being an

independent representative. I would like anyone to tell me if they have

had positive or negative experiences with this company.

Thank You.

Re: Info on LogoWear Direct

I became a rep for LogoWear Direct a couple of months ago and it is a legit company. They sell apparel that they embroider the customers logo on.
The down side is you have to find the customers. You are given access to their website to find these and then you mail out info to them.
Of course you have the expense of postage, envelopes, and material that you can purchase from LogoWear Direct. I have not sent alot of info out yet, maybe 60-65 envelopes. I have recieved 1 response and that turned out to a " I'll call you if I decide to order". So, can it work? yes, i think so..
will it work quickly? don't think so...

Re: LogoWear Direct, use mailing, or e-mail?

In the info I received, it mentioned, using e-mail also to contact

businesses. Is it easier to use mailings, because e-mail addresses are not

always available?

Thank you

Re: Info on LogoWear Direct

How do they plan to compete with this?
http://www.samsclubembroidery.com/

Free B2B shipping, free setup and shirts that cost less than $20.00 each.

I'm no big fan of Wal-Mart, but you can NOT beat them in this category.

You're right, it is almost impossible to compete with that.

Re: Info on LogoWear Direct

Sad but true. Logowear may have better quality shirts and all that, but all that goes away in the face of lower prices. Since Logowear chooses to keep its prices a mystery, I can't really say much more.

Re: Info on LogoWear Direct

P.S.--I've been ordering my work shirts from Sam's Club for years and (I am trying not to vomit because I am giving Wal-Mart/Sam's a lot of credit) the shirts hold up extremely well.

Re: Info on LogoWear Direct

 Okay. I understand that the customers are NOT going to beat down my door if I become a representative and that the prices are quite possibly NOT competitive (unconfirmed). But how are they on tur-around? And do they put out a quality product? I would like all of the facts before making a final decisions. Does ANYONE have an idea on the prices that are charged?

This company is addressed on another forum that I frequent. The thread may be of interest to you. It certainly isn't an endorsement to join...

What is so wrong with Wal-Mart? You don't know how lucky you are to be living in a modern society where you can get everything in one place. Your great grandparents had to spend all damn day shopping for a week's worth of provisions, now you can get that done in less than 45 minutes.

Instead of griping about how much money Wal-Mart is making, why not join them by buying and selling their company stock? For example: on 17 Jan 2006 you could have bought 100 shares for $44.88 and then sold it ten days later on 27 Jan 2006 for $46.59 and made $171 profit. Then taken that $4659 and purchased 103 shares of stock on 6 Feb 2006 for $45.08 and then resold it on 23 March 2006 for $48.54 for a $340 profit.

You can do this, of course, if you're not an anti-capitalist socialistic democrat voter.

Long Live Wal-mart....Long Live Capitalism! Hoo-ah!!!!

Re: Info on LogoWear Direct

Actually,

I AM a Democrat. I have nothing against making money, though. Just Walmart's methods of employee intimidation and boosting their incomes on the backs of the tax payer via their skewed health plan scam, among other things.

Make money, but do it ethically.

P.S. Lay off the name calling, its infantile and detracts from any valid point you may have been attempting to make.

what complete bollocks.

Yeah bad old Walmart - where the everyday wage earner goes to shop - why? Because he or she can buy more for his or her buck there than anywhere else.

The scourge of our society are people who want to stick it to the working man for an ideology.

Re: Info on LogoWear Direct

Hey, now, be nice children. As a Walmart employee, I can tell you it's not the best place to work, not my "ideal" job, but it is a job it is bringing in a paycheck, and it's a stable company - I won't have to worry about being laid off - if I lose my job it will be cuz I screwed up, not because some ***hole CEO ran off with all the company's assets when he retired. The hours are flexible so I am able to work around my kids' and husband's schedules. Would I like to be working somewhere else that pays better and has better benefits? Hell yeah - who wouldn't?

I agree with that - my wife and I shop at Walmart for the weekly groceries because it is a damned sight cheaper to shop there for them than it is anywhere else.

Re: Info on LogoWear Direct

I became and Independant Representative for Logowear Direct about 3 months ago. I haven't actually had time to follow through with it, but I will tell you that there prices are very good in fact. Yes, there is a one time set up fee to have your items embroidred, but the costs of the shirts or other apparel you just can't beat!

Re: LogoWear Direct, use mailing, or e-mail?

It is also good to have a plan when you are getting started with logowear. You need to figure out which companies will actually use your product. And if making phone calls instead of mailing letters then make sure you are fully prepared to answer their questions. A good plus is asking your customer for referrals. This will give you more people to sell your product to.
