They will try to charge your credit card full amount as fast as they can get your number. It is usual free trial scam.

Re: Is Small Boxes, Big Profits a scam?

That site has some issues, no street address or phone number.

The 'privacy policy' is short:
Quote:
Sharing Personal Information with Third Parties

We will never sell or give away your personal information to third parties for purposes of building contact lists, or anything of that nature, without your permission.
But will they sell or give away your personal information to third parties for another purpose? What will they themselves or their affiliates do with your personal information? Spam you?

Quote:
Impact Marketing stands firmly against any transfer of personal information for reasons of building the contact lists of third parties.
But will they transfer your personal information for other reasons?

Quote:
We do however, reserve the right to contact our customers to advise them of new product offerings and special rewards. This contact is very infrequent.
Yes, they will spam you, but only infrequently. Just how often is infrequently? Once an hour/day/week?

Earnings Disclaimer, also short:
Quote:
THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THAT YOU WILL EARN ANY MONEY USING THE TECHNIQUES AND IDEAS IN THESE MATERIALS.
And:
Quote:
EXAMPLES IN THESE MATERIALS ARE NOT TO BE INTERPRETED AS A PROMISE OR GUARANTEE OF EARNINGS.
And:
Quote:
WE DO NOT PURPORT THIS AS A "GET RICH SCHEME."
And:
Quote:
WE CANNOT GUARANTEE YOUR SUCCESS OR INCOME LEVEL.
Guess they know that you won't make any money, which is verified here:

TESTAMONIAL DISCLAIMER:
Quote:
THE PERFORMANCE EXPERIENCED BY USER COMMENTS AND TESTIMONIALS, ON THIS PAGE AND/OR OUR WEB SITE , IS NOT WHAT YOU SHOULD EXPECT TO EXPERIENCE.
And:
Quote:
IMPACT MARKETING HAS NOT INDEPENDENTLY EXAMINED THE BUSINESS RECORDS OF ANY OF THE PROVIDERS AND THEREFORE HAS NOT VERIFIED ANY SPECIFIC FIGURES OR RESULTS QUOTED THEREIN.
And:
Quote:
THESE RESULTS ARE NOT TYPICAL, AND YOUR INCOME OR RESULTS, IF ANY, WILL VARY AND THERE IS A RISK YOU WILL NOT MAKE ANY MONEY AT ALL
Just how many ways can they say "you won't make any money"
Quote:
SOME OF THE USERS MAY, IN SOME CASES, BEEN INCENTIVIZED TO SUBMIT THEIR COMMENTS.
Umm, is that a polite way to say they were paid to say something that may or may not be true as no one verified the information?

Quote:
NO GUARANTEES ARE MADE THAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE RESULTS SIMILAR TO OURS OR ANYBODY ELSES, IN FACT NO GUARANTEES ARE MADE THAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE ANY RESULTS FROM OUR IDEAS AND TECHNIQUES IN OUR MATERIAL.
They just keep saying the same thing over and over, no money to made doing this.

the who-is says:
Quote:
Updated Date: 31-may-2009
Creation Date: 31-may-2009
Expiration Date: 31-may-2010
Only a one year registration, why pay for longer if the owner doesn't think his/her site will last longer. Wonder if that owner will bother to renew the registration since it expires soon.

Also from the who-is is this:
Quote:
Registrant:
impact marketing
p.o. box 974
long beach, Mississippi 39560
United States

Administrative Contact:
tyner, scott careerpro2000@aol.com
impact marketing
p.o. box 974
long beach, Mississippi 39560
United States
(228) 864-5300
Yet in the middle of that long page it says in big red font that the whatever that site is selling is not available in Mississippi. Now why would a website program be unavailable in the exact state where it is registered?

Re: Is Small Boxes, Big Profits a scam?

There are 2 choices on how you want to purchase "INFOMATION". You can pay more and mail your money order to a P.O. Box. with a money back option. Second option, you can pay less and get it via e-book with no money back guarantee. The website is misleading. You are paying for information. You are given flier ideas and marketing tips. Duh! According to the web testimonials you make thousands of dollars the firs month. I am going to say they are paid friends or family members. After my purchase I was not given the option to leave feed back. So, here I am. The physical item which you are selling diabetic test strips. You have to place fliers through town and neighboring towns (which I did) stating: "Wanting to buy: Diabetic test strips paying between $5-$10 dollars. You buy them from people from your town, who for whatever reason have not used them and place them on Ebay for cash. GAS, GAS, GAS! I have gotten no phone calls have not made one dollar! It has been a month! My 81 dollar non refundable fee in addition to gas. A worthless venture which has cost me almost 150.00 with no money as promised! Not worth the money! Not recommended! Waste of time and money.

They will attempt to blame your cash in your card and they can get your details. It is normally a scam.
