I need visitors,How do I increase web traffic?

I'm starting with 2 affiliate programs and a MLM. I have 3 sites to promote.
But how do I get more visitors to my sites?

I'm using twitter a bit and am now in several forums, what else can I do?

Hi Dave,

Welcome.

I would strongly suggest that you setup your own site with a
lead capture system first. You absolutely, positively do not
want to send traffic to your affiliate sites without capturing
their name/email first.

In addition, if you use wordpress for example, you will have a great deal more flexibility in terms of creating content that will help you get started with seo.

Steps.

1. Get a webhost that supports WP ( Hostgator or Hostmonster)
2. Do a bit of research for a domain name, presumably
you want something "affiliate" related.
3. Get an autoresponder ( Aweber )
4. Create a giveaway of some sort, report or software that
you can use on your squeeze page in exchange for lead info.
5. Potentially, send the lead to the affiliate page as the thank you from you squeeze page.
6. Setup your email campaign to send out periodic encouragement for your leads to join your programs.

Of course, there are lots of details, but that's an approach that will get you started.

Regards,
Phil
