Easy Google Profit & related SCAMS
I am reopening a thread for Easy Google Profit because there are literally thousands of individuals worldwide that are continuing to be ripped of by this program and others that are nearly identical but with variations on the name.
Please refrain from exhaustive and excessive posting of individual affiliates, because this will only cause this thread to be removed.
Please post solutions for the individuals who have been ripped off and also advice for getting their monies back.

Re: Easy Google Profit & Related SCAM
Fast Easy Cash is another one of these scams that is making inroads into the wallets and credit card accounts of unsuspecting web searchers.
It is the same pill with a different name.

Re: Easy Google Profit SCAM
Another version is called Google Money Master aka Google Revolution.
There is a good description and investigation of it on this blog:
Google Revolution, Different Name, Same Scam!

Re: Easy Google Profit SCAM
One of the scammy “Easy Google Profit” products was put together as an attempt to each people how to do Adsense Arbitrage:: that is, buying traffic from Google Adwords and then sending it to a page where the user is persuaded to click a Google Adsense ad. This practice is banned in Google’s Terms of Service and isn’t as easy to pull off as it was 1-2 years ago.

Re: Easy Google Profit SCAM
The thing that makes me sick is that this scam is being run by the same 4 people that started the money tree and treasure chest scams!
Need proof?
The owner of Easy Google Profits (aka Google Treasure Chest and Google Money Tree) has been identified as Infusion Media Inc, GoogleTreasureChest.com, InternetIncomeInitiative.com, and Jonathan D. Eborn, by the Texas Attorney General.
They got a little better at creating websites though. This one can fool you at first...
http://www.losangeles-tribune.com/finance/
Oh, and this one too....
http://miamigazettenews.com/business/2009/main.php
Notice on the bottom of the page it says Comments Closed Due To Abusive Spam (back soon). All comments are obviously fake. If there ever was the ability to post comments, I'm sure they all said SCAM!!!!!!!!
And this scam tricks you into signing up for 2 additional programs for, of course, a monthly fee each!! CRIMINALS!!!!
And to anyone that has been scammed by these con artists, DO NOT waste your time trying to cancel with google profit, treasure chest or money tree themselves. They DO NOT have a cancellation option AT ALL. I realize they claim to have a money back guarantee, but it is a LIE. They will give you a bogus cancellation number and continue charging your bank every single month. Remember, they are low life criminals. You must treat them as such. Contact your bank, inform them that the charges are unauthorized or fraudulent.
Paid with a debit card?
CANCEL IT NOW
DO NOT hesitate! The longer you wait to take action, the more money the criminals can steal and the harder it may be to correct the problem.

Re: Easy Google Profit SCAM
I want to thank all of you for the excellent posts.
I tried to include a copy of the check that is widely displayed by these scam sites. Some change the name but they are all too lazy to change the check numbers.
I was unable to save the copy to this post.

Solid advice.
I have to reiterate that some of the newer sites are now placing claims in their terms and conditions that state "if you initiate a charge back or try to get a refund that your billing will be turned over to a third party collection agency."
Whatever you do, please do not let these a**h*les intimidate you and believe this tripe.
This is all a fake and they have no legal grounds to pursue.
They are the criminals and scammers, not you.
Just cancel your card and demand a charge back for any billing that you received.
DEMAND a charge back!

Does anyone else find it ironic that we are in a way promoting this thing? Because we talk about it so much, the Google adsense on this site is advertising this particular scam more than legitimate ads! This one is getting out of hand folks

I stopped complaining about that because it does no good. It is up to us to help those that we can by keeping people posted and aware of the new sites as they appear.
I have had many people personally thank me for helping them before and after they signed up for one of these scams.
So, it is definitely worth my time to keep this up as long as scam.com allows me to.

I am unable to view the cached pages of the deleted forum. Was curious, was there a lot of attatchments being posted? Such as multiple links to the same website, or perhaps, information posted that may have violated a copyright law or two? Reason I ask is because that may be the reason for the forum being removed. Of course we can not escape the fact that scam.com has the right to remove any information posted for any reason at all.
maybe the mormons did it

It would probably be helpful to those who do not know what this is about from those that have purchased this.
Why is it a scam?

Easy Google Profit, Google Money Tree, Google Treasure Chest, are all classified as scams because of their business practices.
They first claim in their ads that all you have to pay for is shipping. They hide their terms and conditions and use deceptive methods to distract a customer from the fact that you are actually signing up for a membership with monthly fees.
That I believe, is false advertisement. They claim to send customers who pay the shipping charge a cd containing all the information you need to earn X amount of money a week. (usually $3500-$5000)
A very small percentage of people actually received the disk. And from what they found on the disk, it was nothing more than generic information that you can learn on your own for free.
A trojan virus was also found on the cd's. The virus seems to search for contact info on the users computer. (E-mail contacts for the most part) They could then sell those addresses to spammers and if the contacts had phone numbers listed with them, they could possibly use that info in the same way.
Aside from all of that, they claim to have a 30 day money back guarantee. That has been proven to be a lie. As for Google Money Tree, the ONLY way to get a refund was to contact a user here at this forum. The customer service line was bogus. Yea people answered the phones and even gave out bogus cancellation numbers, but money tree had no intentions on providing refunds.
Instead, they send a "rep" to this forum (which happens to discuss their scam) and have him hurl insults and worthless threats at anyone that caught on to the scam. Check out pages 1-3 of this forum. They will give you a real good idea of the mentality of these criminals.
Basically, they never had a valid product to sell, they used deception and outright lies to steal money from people that happen to still have faith in others.
Check back here often. There is a regular user here that managed to receive the cd. He will be able to post more details about the contents of the disk.

Re: Easy Google Profit SCAM
Yeah I would have to agree that almost everything I have ran across for Google Adwords in a scam. Most of these scams sign you up for a 7-14 day trial and then if you don't cancel you will be billed.
The only thing I can think of that is not a scam is maybe an eBook on how to use it effectively. I think beating Adwords is a good book, but not a scam.

I think that it may have been do to a link that revealed some of the copyrighted information that was on the disk, someone, posted.
I will not put a link to that ever again, or ever copy and print out examples of the garbage that they are sending out to people. I promise.
The printed text is small and poorly presented. Most of the information is old and outdated and can be found easily on the internet and in better format.
Basically, it is like me writing an ebook on electricity, something that I know very little about, by gathering all of the information from places on the internet and old reference manuals, and then putting it onto a CD as original work.
Next, giving it away for shipping costs in hopes that no one notices that they are actually signing up for a membership to my Expert Electrician's website where they can learn more of the same stuff that I gather for free from other sites and only charge them 71.00$ US, or more for, each and every month. And then give or sell their information to other people for even more monthly charges and money in my pocket.

Er, what are you on about mate? Did you not read the posts above!?
It is a scam because the ongoing monthly charges are buried in the terms and conditions on a seperate page (which is illegal under FTC regulations) and not mentioned at all on the sign-up page or payment page. Even if you do find out about the monthly rebilling before you order - you only have 7 days "free trial" from when you order - so the charges often begin before you even receive anything. The info they send (if they even send it) is just a bunch of worthless outdated ebooks. Cancelling is apperently almost impossible - you get put on hold for hours, hung-up on or just get an answering machine. Even if/when you do get through and cancel they charges - you often still get charged again anyway. You also get signed up for a bunch of other stuff and have to try and cancel those too. (As said above - don't waste your time and money - get your bank to do a chargeback on all unauthorised charges)
eg: " I was charged a total of $203.00 from my bank account. It was from Google Treasure Chest, A1 Member, Safelock ID, and Grants Master. All I did was purchased a CD for $1.97 which was paid toward shipping and handling. And a couple of weeks later I was charged $72.21 twice. Safelock ID charged me $38.84, A1 Member charged me $24.87, and Grants Master charged me $24.87. "
Source of quote here.
Not to mention that these offers/kits are promoted by affiliates of the CPA networks via fake blogs (made up story, stock photos, fake comments/testimonials), maxmind ip locater script to place the person who wrote the blog in your location, photoshopped fake cheques/checks etc, etc. Some CPA affiliates also promote these offers by spamming Cr@igs list users and Yahoo Answers as well as other so called "black hat" methods. So morkelkey, in light of the above please explain how it is "not a scam"?!

Thanks for explaining but I think that this person, morkelkey, is a spammer and or a bot. I checked his other two comments out and it seems that his only purpose is to advertise his affiliate signature link. His comments are trite and shallow without any real substance.

I am leaning towards the bot concept. All three posts were made exactly 4 minutes apart, and as gregw2 stated, the posts do not really amount to anything. Almost confusing. A bot or poor english.
Thank you gregw2 for clearifying the reason for the closure. That would definitely get a thread pulled! I guess we have lucked out on the money tree thread as far as copyrighted material being posted.

Re: Easy Google Profit SCAM
This is infuriating!!!
I (like a lot of people on here) saw the name 'Google' and having just been made redundant thought why not try to earn myself some money online, as i'm pretty good with computers etc. So i input my visa details and Ł1.19 (1.87USD) was immediately taken from my account.
However as previously mentioned i'm also not hugely passionate about any one subject enough to start my own blog; so i cancelled 2 days into the initial 7-day trial by emailing- support@googlerevolution.com. I had to send the identical email 3 times before i got a reply simply saying: Hi, Your order ID **** has been cancelled.
Now this was back at the start of June, and as i'd received notice of my cancellation i thought that was that.
HOW WRONG COULD I BE!!!!
I was checking my online bank account just now, and yesterday Ł23.02 (37.63USD) was taken in the name of 'clicksellgo'. I had no idea who this company was and how the hell they'd managed to get access to my visa details- until i searched on (ironically) Google and found that both companies are linked.
So 20 days after the initial charge from 'Google Revolution was withdrawn, i now have an unauthorised charge of Ł23.02 and i'm at a loss about what to do.
I have emailed the customer service team at 'ClickSellGo' and hopefully will get a response, but i guess the next step is to cancel my visa card- how annoying!!
I will update with the developments of this mess.

Yes! By all means cancel your card and better yet, have your bank issue a chargeback. As posted on the google money tree forum:

Scammers hate chargebacks because it gets their merchant account (payment processing service) red flagged and it costs them money over and above the cost of the refund. If enough people do chargebacks then the scammer gets their merchant account closed down and that stops them scamming until they open up a new one. So it's win, win - you get a refund and it costs the scammers money! ;)

Re: Easy Google Profit SCAM
We had a credit card expert recommend that you don't call and attempt to cancel Easy Google Profit or any of these other bogus programs.
If you call, they can put you on hold, then can use their phone records as their defense of any chargeback dispute. Basically that you called them for more than 10 minutes and the charge is a phone consultation fee and is a legit charge.
He recommended that you report the card stolen or cancel it rather than call to cancel, then dispute the charges. He also recommended contacting a fraud attorney about starting or joining a civil class action dispute against them. Note, I'm not a lawyer nor do I play one on TV.

Excellent information! This is a new one for me. I had not heard about this before now.
I hope that many people receive this information.
In fact this is the impetus, the thread that is pushing me to creating a new website.
There are so many scam buster sites already, but none of them are enough, or as revealing as scam.com, enough said.

I have been getting email ads for Twitter Cash Kit lately and it is another site that has been created by the people out of Provo Utah. There are already complaints being lodged about this program on various websites.
It has a recurring monthly charge of $49.95.

Fax: (801) 437-5927
Address: 5072 North 300 West

They also use a CO address but good luck in any cancellation
attempt or refund from them.
You may cancel your use of the Services and/or terminate this
Agreement with or without cause at any time by providing
notice at http://www.prosperuniversity.com/contact.html, or
by contacting Prosper University at 1-888-783-7260 or via

But they are behind the Twitter cash kit.
Here is an old link from Rip-off Report about Prosper http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/...Off0134125.htm
Here a more current link: http://ripoffreport.com/reports/0/462/RipOff0462977.htm
The Twitter Cash Kit is definitely a con job and is coming from this corporation.

Re: Easy Google Profit SCAM
I have since found this site: http://www.gopetition.com/online/27433/sign.html
There is an active thread on scam.com about Prosper. http://www.scam.com/showthread.php?t=3433&page=3
Here is a link to the Twitter Cash Kit: http://www.twittercashkit.com/
This is not an affiliate link. They only ask for $3.88 and if you try to leave they offer the kit for .97 cents. But be warned that you are really giving out your credit card information and that you will be charged much more, and probably before you even receive the kit in the mail.
Here is a link that contains Prosper, Thrive, The Summit Group, Mentoring of America, and Storesonline. http://www.cityweekly.net/utah/artic...-question.html
This link is posted on scam.com already. Re: Prosper Learning Inc.???

The defendants marketed “John Beck’s Free & Clear Real Estate System,” “John Alexander’s Real Estate Riches in 14 Days,” and “Jeff Paul’s Shortcuts to Internet Millions.” The defendants allegedly made false and unsubstantiated claims about potential earnings for users of these systems. They used frequently aired infomercials to sell the systems for $39.95 and then contacted the purchasers via telemarketing to offer “personal coaching services,” which cost several thousand dollars and purportedly would enhance their ability to earn money quickly and easily using the systems. In addition, all purchasers were signed up for continuity programs that cost an additional $39.95 per month, but which were not adequately disclosed to consumers. Some consumers also continued receiving unwanted sales calls after they told the defendants’ telemarketers to stop calling. This case was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California."

Re: Easy Google Profit SCAM
This type of post has been made before, to an extent, but I feel it is worth repeating.
ANY "product" that contains the name of an existing company (IE: Google, Twitter, and soon to come Bing) along with the words Cash or Kit, is more than likely a scam. Even if they actually do send customers their "product", 99.98% of the time the information contained can be learned for free. To me, that is a scam. Not to mention the rediculous, overpriced "membership fee" that actually gets you NO added benifit.
If you or anyone you know has put their faith in ANY of these products, DO NOT waste your time by trying to cancel via their 800 number or their website. They are diversion tactics intended to mislead you so they can continue to steal money. It has been proven time and time again that the ONLY way to stop all charges and to get your money refunded is to contact your bank, notify them of the unauthorized charges and have them issue a chargeback. (They hate that!) ukscambuster, feel free to elaborate as to why if you wish
If you paid using a debit card CANCEL IT. It may be more difficult to get your money returned from a debit card purchase but cancelling the card will stop these criminals from continuing to remove money from your account. And they WILL CONTINUE until stopped.
As gregw2 mentioned, DO NOT let these "companies" intimidate you! I don't care if they threaten with lawsuits, laugh at them. They have NO legal grounds to stand upon.
A far as companies offering worthless services, avoid ALL free credit report companies! (Escpecially from television) You, as a United States Citizen are entitled to a credit report for FREE from the government itself.
ANY company claiming to give you access to any government grants, is a scam! There are grants available, but qualifying for them is a whole other issue. Also, BE EXTREMELY AWARE of these car warranty ads. I have found that ALL warranty ads that are sent to your home via the USPS ARE SCAMS. And it is very safe to assume the online versions are the same.

Re: Easy Google Profit SCAM
My credit card company (Chase) was very good. They put a halt on my card as soon as these scammers started to charge me $70.00. They obviously have lots of complaints against them. They had to issue me another card. Those assholes need to go to jail! And I hope they rot there forever

As a member of the Internet Jackpot Membership Website, you will be automatically billed $67 per month.

|
They put the $ amount in actual numbers instead of letters and they also posted the negative option but I guarantee this is a 100% SCAM!
I am also sure that NO ONE will get the "product" before the 7 days are up.
Scams associated with Google Jackpot:
Rebate Millionaire and Network Agenda.

This site now redirects to Twitter Cash Kit when you click on the Google Profit link, and Make Google Fast Cash when you click on the Google Money Masters link.
Both are owned and operated by Prosper out of Utah, and when you sign up you are automatically signing up for more than one membership.
[quote]You are also enrolling in our Health Tracker Program. The first 30 days from your signup date is free. If you like the Health Tracker Program, do nothing, and we will bill your credit card $6.82 per month for the subscription. If you are not satisfied, you may cancel this service at any time by cancelling at health-tracker.com with no further obligations.
Please return all product to:
51 West Center Street #622, Orem, UT, 84057[end quote]
And what pray tell does Health tracker have to do with the Twitter and Google scams that charge you $49.87- $71.95 or more a month?
Maybe they figure that you will be so shocked by the monthly fees that you were unaware of, and then so frustrated by the unsuccessful attempts at cancellations and refunds that your health will be affected adversely and you will need to start tracking it on a monthly basis for an additional charge of $6.82 a month.
This is just another way to get more money out of you without your knowledge. It is such a minor charge, you may never notice it for months.
This page http://www.losangeles-tribune.com/finance/ has three links. The two I mentioned above, Twitter Cash Kit, and Make Google Fast Cash, and then when you try to close the page it has a redirect to Google biz Kit.
All scam sites.
The biggest challenge that I see is keeping up with all of the name changes and product name creations that these scammers come out with. It would be laborious to create a new thread in scam.com for each and every new metamorphose that these sites go through when all they are doing is redirecting you to the new site with a new name.

That is such a good theory!! That actually may be the only reason health tracker is involved. I don't know about everyone else but, I will always consider ANY "company" associated with these criminals as SCAMS. Matter of fact, I'll say it now.
Healthtracker.com IS A SCAM.
Any doubters??
Stop by and prove me wrong.
These low life criminals are so unimaginative, that they can't even come up with their own name. They have to steal one from someone else.
Oh, I almost forgot, Where is the easy google profit "rep"? It's about time for one to show up and spew lies and insults at us don't you think??
ukscambuster guess what?!! I won the United Kingdom International lottery today!! 800,000Gbp!! All I have to do is ( removed) send them my full name, address, birthdate and phone number. The best part is, the email was sent to me from Arizona. LOL
The only thing worse than a thief, is a moronically desperate one!!

The people that fall for these scams are everyday people that are unaware of the types of scoundrels and thieves that continue to infect the internet.
Many of the victims of these email scams are elderly people on a fixed retirement income, or are playing the lotteries fairly often and so fall victim to these scams, believing that they actually won.
Often times, the information that is gathered from them is used to build a new identity and use their often good credit ranking to open new credit accounts and charge up ridiculous amounts of debt in their name, which ultimately they are liable for. And even if they are cleared of the illegal debt, their credit rating is demolished and ruined for years.
Or, they are coerced into sending a fee to a fictitious barrister so that their winnings can be released.
Or, they have to send their private bank account information in so that the transfer will go smoothly.
There are probably as many different angles to these emails as there are thieves involved.
I know what you meant and I am also guilty of the same kind of rhetoric at times. But we have to continue to hope that we can at least avert some of the innocent from joining the enormous ranks of the scammed.

That is true. But please understand, I was referring to myself in that post. I never consider any victim a mindless idiot. I made bad decision on the words I used.
Did you know that the Untited States Secret Service is VERY interested in those kind of scams? They are filing ALL of them for investigation and eventual prosecution. I forward all of those emails to them, and also sent an email telling them that I am more than willing to help reel these criminals in, any way I can.
The link below is the address to forward emails of that nature to the secret service.
Nigerian, Lottery scams, Money Transfer Frauds, Lawyers with deceased clients
419.fcd@usss.treas.gov
Or fax them at (202) 406-5031
The website below lists the different kind of scams and where and how to report them.
http://www.consumerfraudreporting.or...ing.php#Postal
The best part is, by reporting these scams to the parties on the above site, you are going well above Utah's head for one! Second, the secret service can find these criminals location a whole lot faster and more efficiently than the other organizations.

Re: Easy Google Profit SCAM
There is also:
For scams based in the US (person reporting them/filing a complaint can be anywhere):
http://www.ftc.gov
http://www.ic3.gov
For scams based outside the US (person reporting them/filing a complaint can be anywhere):
http://www.econsumer.gov/
For scams based in the UK (person reporting them/filing a complaint can be anywhere):
http://www.consumerdirect.gov.uk/watch_out/report/
Scam.com should really have a link to the FTC and ic3 on the top of each page as a lot of people don't know where to report a scam or they file a complaint with the BBB which don't have any ***** to take legal action. BBB will just write to the company and ask them to refund you but if the letter is ignored or undeliverable then the BBB just note this on their site but don't take any further action - so a true scammer will just ignore the letters or return to sender.

That's a good idea! According to some of the posts from the mods, the admin seems to be hard to contact. The admin may be the only one that could put that link on this site. BTW, thank you for the reporting link for UK based scams!

Re: Easy Google Profit SCAM
Perhaps this is just me, and I maybe completely one-sided in my logic but anything that says : "We are going to charge your credit card for not only the 1.97 but also another 39.99+17.99+9.95 a month if this is not canceled within 7 days" cannot really be purely classified as a scam.
I guess technically it can be called that, but I look at all the infomercials that do the exact same thing. Also, this is not something new. My mother, RIP, got hooked with one of these deals in 1982. Magazine add, says, buy this trial subscription for 2.95, and then, you can cancel it within 7 days of receipt. If not canceled within 7 days of receipt, then you will be charged 19.99 a month, for which then you can cancel thereafter but still owe for any issues already mailed out. It was written in the disclaimer of the magazine, in the back, where few would look. BUT, it was still there so is this a scam also?
I'm more of a black and white person. If i tell you I am going to take OTHER monies from you if you do not do xyz, then who's fault is it really?
I'll get off of my soap box now, but one thing is that I would like people to start clicking disclaimers and reading the TOA before CLICKING ANYTHING. That will help to eliminate people being scammed.
