AmerAssist Job Scam - Stay Away

I applyed for a job in Houston Texas with amerassist www.amerassist.com only to find it was not a job at all. They wanted me to pay $7500 to become a regional manager. You can watch on their own video... http://www.amerassist.com/recruiting/MGR_Video.aspx

This is not a job but a chance for them to make $7500 of my hard earned money.

Re: AmerAssist Job Scam - Not A job, but franchise

There are plenty of those out there so beware. At least you caught it in time. Wish you the best on your job search. In the meantime, i suggest you look for something to help buffer or add to your income to help in situations like these. You are not alone my friend.

Not true. I've been a general agent for AmerAssist for 4 months and all I've paid is my license and bonding fee. (This was less than $500 and I get most of it back when and if I leave the company.)

This guy tried to come in as a Regional Manager and buy an entire territory without knowing the job. He's complaining about his failure to be hired to do a job he couldn't perform. As with most jobs, at AmerAssist you have to start at the bottom and learn the ropes as you go along. So, not a franchise.

This isn't the whole story, folks. As usual, he's only telling you a part of it.

Re: AmerAssist Job Scam - Not A job, but franchise

Hmmmm actually if you watch the video it does explain it as being a Franchise so you're actually wrong. This company is uses the very dull pyramid marketing to try to recruit "franchisees". Don't fall for it.
