Stormpay/Egold and the feds..Sting?

Egold raided by feds shuts down, and then reopens for business?

If you add the noticeable disappearance from all these programs of
ebullion, which used to be the ecurrency of choice for all these
deals? I think they knew what was coming 6 months ago

With the Patriot Act etc.. the anonymous nature of these
ecurrencies, I think, it makes all of them a prime target for the
feds. that and the fact all these programs go belly up, perfect set
of circumstances for big bro to step in. $1.5 trillion have been
raised by online "progarms" over the last 10 years, few customers
ever file compalints. I never did

makes sense to me, 12daypro said Stormpay knew of their business
module. so did the feds I think. it was a sting. just like in the
movies . When stormpay shut the autosurfs down they
mentioned 2 or 3 active investigations including the feds.

Ok, a few points to note, INTgold was investigated by the FEDs after several complaints from people who had money stolen by INTgold.

The FEDs possibly decided to start sniffing around the other "gold related" websites as they all have a similar business model.

It is worth noting that as Stormpay are a bunch of unethical, greedy, dishonest scamming scum, they could have been behind a lot of the E-gold hacks and might have possibly given the FEDs a tip-off about alleged shady business at E-gold. It really wouldn't surprise me if they had done so to gain a monopoly in the autosurf, HYIP arena. I mean before they froze, chargedback and confiscated/stole money from several Stormpay members accounts, they requested that all the autosurfs made them sole payment processor.....Now why would they do a thing like that if it weren't greed and possibility of gaining a monopoly driving them?

Now the ex- doctor who runs E-gold had nothing really to hide from the FEDS and provided as much information to the FEDs as they needed. In future investigations into Stormpay (when the FEDs get round to it), I would like to see how Stormpay would fare.
