Are all paid survey jobs a scam

I went online and put in legit work at home jobs just to see what would come up and I was given two sites and wanted to know if anyone has ever heard of them or used them and if they are scams. I was leary because you have to pay for them, it's not much but it's more then what I have.

The poster here that is the expert on work-at-home jobs is a poster called katiescorner. What I know is that any work-at-home site that asks for a payment upfront for access to something and/or an ebook is 99.999% a scam. All they are doing is giving you a seriously outdated list of dodgy websites promoting pyramid schemes or maybe a short list of the legit work-at-home sites. You can find legit work at home sites by doing a bit more googling or looking at the bottom of any of katiescorner's posts.

Re: Are all paid survey jobs a scam

Thank you Meri.. You are so awesome!

The truth is, taking surveys is not a job and the places that want you to pay money are just taking your money to access their database of survey sites. They also tend to include "offer sites" in that database.

You should never pay for the right to get into consumer research and you should never pay for a "job" either.

The companies that hire for work at home jobs do not charge fees (with the exception of one that charges for a background check AFTER your interview) and the real survey sites never charge a fee either.

Taking surveys is not a job, it is a great and fun way to get to test out new products and give your feedback AND make some extra cash. You can make a few hundred a month with it but it really isn't a job.

Re: Are all paid survey jobs a scam

I signed up at a web site to get a list of possible sites that paid for surveys.
I think it was around $22 , this was about 6yrs ago. I made $20 in a year and a half. Save your money !!!!!!!
don't bother.
