Paid to Place? Scam?

Can anyone tell me if Paid to Place is a scam. If you're not familiar with this, it's basically something that you pay $18 and some change for, and you work at placing ads online and can earn more money if you also place ads offline. They don't tell you where you're going to be placing said ads or what the ads are for. I'm trying to find a legit WAH business.

Re: Paid to Place? Scam?

If you mean

That site has some issues.

Disclaimer is the usual:
the results I have achieved are not what can generally be expected.

Anyone who buys a program about making money will not necessarily make money simply by purchasing the program. Who knows you may never make any money.

Earning and Income statements made by our company and its representatives are estimates of what we think you could possibly earn. There is no guarantee that you will achieve these levels of income

There is no guarantee that examples of past earnings can be duplicated in the future. We cannot guarantee your future results and predict your future success.

Just the usual, we know you won't make any money doing what we are advertising.

Terms and Conditions is the usual:
No Warranties: All websites, products and services are provided as is, without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

If the websites, products, services or written materials are defective, you, and not our company, assume the entire cost of all necessary servicing, repair or correction. This is the only warrant of any kind, either expressed or implied, that is made by our company. No oral or written information or advice given by our company shall create a warranty or in any way increase the scope of this warranty, and you may not rely on such information or advice to do so.

So, you are totally on your own, they don't take responsibility for anything.

Modifications: Paid to Place reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, add or remove any portion of the site or this TOS, in whole or in part, at any time. Changes to this TOS will be effective when posted.

They change, don't tell you but you have to abide by whatever changed.

Privacy Policy is the usual:
we reserve the right to amend, modify or revise our policies as we see fit to better serve our customers and clients. We invite you to check back and thoroughly review our policies periodically.

So, they can change anything and not tell you and you have to re-read everything every time to see what changed and how it affects you.
Earnings: Paid to Place cannot guarantee your future results and/or success. Income examples on this website are for educational purposes only. Additionally, Paid to Place makes absolutely no guarantees or warranties of generating any kind of income whatsoever.

All charts, graphs or any other examples of income that can be generated which are on this website are for example and educational purposes only. Paid to Place makes no guarantee as to any sort of income, expressed and or implied.

Just how many ways can they say "you won't make any money and we know that"?

At the bottom of the home page in small print, light purple color is this:
Our Honest Upfront Policy: Kathy Garcia and Paid to Place reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, add or remove any portion of the site or this terms, in whole or in part, at any time. Changes to the terms will be effective when posted.

Yet again, they say, we will change anything and you have to figure out what changed and how/if it affects you.

In keeping with Kathy's wishes to safeguard her family's privacy the name Kathy Garcia is her pen name and Kathy's family images on this web site are stock photo's for obvious privacy reasons and the same for the testimonials.

At least whomever is behind this site is honest about this subject, the names and pictures are all fake.

Just so you know, the results she has achieved are not what can generally be expected. Paid to Place is not a job opportunity, it is an opportunity for education that can help people to earn money through their efforts. Anyone who buys a program about making money will not necessarily make money simply by purchasing the program. Who knows you may never make any money.

And yet again, you won't make money doing this.

With that said that is why we offer our hassle free no questions asked refund.

But where are the refund instructions? The criteria for said refund? Time frame for the refund?

The comments posted in Kathys blog are real comments representing actual involvement with Paid to Place.

After 'she' has stated that the names and pictures are fake and the estimated income is probably not obtainable, we are suppose to believe that the testimonials are true, even if the names have been changed.

The majority of the content is based on a true story and has been written in an easy to read blog story format.

Majority? Which portion is true? Not 'her' name, not the pictures, not the names on the testimonials and not the income projections. So, just what part is based on a true story?

Our simple privacy policy is all data collected on this site is secure and we promise not to spam you. We may contact you in the future with updates and other related information and offers

So, they promise not to spam you but will contact you with related information and offers. How is contacting someone with related information and offers not spam?

From the who-is:
Domains by Proxy, Inc.
15111 N. Hayden Rd., Ste 160, PMB 353
Scottsdale, Arizona 85260
United States

Seems whomever is behind that site really does not want you to know who they are, where they are or how to contact them.

In the end, you don't know the real name of the person or persons behind this site, where they are located, how to easily contact them or what the job really is.

You do know that the owner is using a fake name, fake pictures, fake testimonial names, private registration and believes you won't make any money.
