Got a scam email from the publisher's clearing house. The real publishers clearing house is easy to recognize, look for authentication in the form of seals, no webmaster can replicate those (or atleast not well). Use common sense is the bottom line.

You could also post up the email and email address used. While you realised it was fake, unfortunately others might not. Adding that information will make this thread more googlable for other potential vicitms to find when looking for information, especially for someone who might not be familiar with how the real publisher's clearing house works.
