Hey everyone, I to was sent this bogus email about a BMW. I am so over all these scamming emails I get daily. If it's not one scam, it's another. I noticed that all the claim numbers are all the same. DAAHHH...RED LIGHT!!! Beware to all who have sent at least an address to these people. I did it one time and next thing I know I was sent all these fraudulent money orders. I of course turned them into my local police department, but of course they said they could not do much about it. GO FIGURE ..Anyways, i am glade i came across this site, maybe if we get word out enough and enough people see we will end up running these no good, lower than whale **** scammers out of "business" !!!!

I also received such an e-mail from this so called " Bmw International Awareness Promotion". By looking at the reply e-mail address (bmwpromoclaims@aol.com) I would expect it to be a scam because if it has direct relation to BMW it e-mail should read something like: *****@bmw.de ; and certainly not ****@aol.com.

Another point I wanted to raise is that my office e-mail address has been "hacked" and has been used extensively to spread scam. Each morning I would find lots of "Undeliver Mail Notices" for e-mails I have not sent. I wonder if any of our readers have the same problem and how they would tackle it. :confused:

Thank god I did a little research and came upon this website....Here I am out of a job and my car and my cat is about to croak and I get this email from "BMW"...I was so happy ...Thank you God, I said and went down on my knees, with tears in my eyes...in retrospect now, I can only laugh...what a cruel world we live in...and yes the serial number, registration number is all the same....only the names of the people are different...Mine was a Mister Thomas Hooper from BMW...The Claims Manager...and then the bogus International courier Systems company emailed me...yep...I was a sucker, I filled out the form and submitted it...but did not send my Drivers license number to the bogus company...I did send them an email stating that they were full of bonk and that I am reporting them to the FBI...as if the FBI/Scottland Yard dont have better crimes to solve....and all they offered me was 450,000 Great British Pounds. and that sexy Saloon...man I would look good driving it..nonetheless.....What a cruel world we live in...and there is a sucker born every minute...Man I came close....Thanks to you all...I saved my ass in time..... :eek:

I actually called BMW in London....this is what I was told: Its a scam that originated in Nigeria..do not respond to it and delete the message immediately. But no, I sent them an email and told them that I was going to report it to Scotland Yord, the CIA & FBI. Actually, I Googled the "BMW Automobile International Awareness Promotion" and what popped up first on the list? Scam.com of course. I guess they're at it again. I am highly excited about winning. I have wanted a car for some time now. I know that it may seem hard to believe, when you consider that there is room enough in a van to accommodate several women, but trust me when I tell you that it is hard enough to pick up one chick in a minivan, much less several. My attempt to “pimp” it out with rims and tinted glass failed miserably when I ran out of money shortly after beginning my project. I now have two rims and the driver’s side window is tinted, so it looks great when you roll up on my left...

Needless to say, this excellent reward, in a contest that I don’t even remember entering, has truly come at a great time. Please send me a scanned Adobe file attachment on company letter head stating that I have won a sweet ride and provide me with the name and phone number of your immediate supervisor and/or manager so that I can verify my windfall. Wake up everyone, no one is looking for you or for me to give us anything just because we are pretty (which is definitely not my case).

I think I have received so many of these emails telling me about prizes, inheritance and international payment collector jobs that I have become very hard to impress.

I have to tell you, even if I am handed a pack of $100's I would still be skeptical, because like I always say, if "free" was a guy he surely died a long time ago.
