Whose Spouse has decided to be an A-Hole tonight?

I love my husband, and he is usually pretty reasonable, but tonight is an a-hole night. Ever experience the same thing in an otherwise great spouse, if so, why and "what was their excuse"?

He's a man. There is no other legitimate excuse.

Well, there's certainly ALWAYS a reason. Not just coincidental. Just keep an open mind and be observant. Eventually, what is at the crux of the matter will make itself known. You might prepare yourself in all the reasonable ways that you need to do to take care of yourself.
Also, consider his history prior to you being in a bonded relation with him. Remember, history repeats itself and this may be just the start of it.
Also, I am sure that you two say, at one time or another that you love each other. In that light, there shouldn't be any problem in you directly confronting him and asking just what is the problem. Ask him to be accountable for his unfavorable behavior. If he loves you he should be able to tell you what is bothering him. Often, people are worried about finances, something at work or such.
Also, I hope you are having a look at circumstances on your part in regard to your providing harmonious support to the relationship. If you are, then you cannot be falted for the development of such situations.
Hang in there, good luck and take care of yourself.

Re: Whose Spouse has decided to be an A-Hole tonight?

Button, psychologists say communication is at the root of almost all marriage problems. Maybe this Men/Women translation dictionary will help.

WOMEN'S ENGLISH:

1. Yes = No
2. No = Yes
3. Maybe = No
4. We need = I demand
5. I am sorry = YOU'LL be sorry
6. We need to talk = YOU'RE in trouble
7. Sure, go ahead = You better not
8. Do what you want = You will pay for this later
9. I am not upset = Of course, I am upset, you moron!
10. You're certainly attentive tonight = Is sex all you ever think about?

MEN'S ENGLISH:

1. I am hungry = I am hungry
2. I am sleepy = I am sleepy
3. I am tired = I am tired
4. Nice dress = Nice cleavage!
5. I love you = Let's have sex now.
6. I am bored = Do you want to have sex?
7. May I have this dance? = I'd like to have sex with you.
8. Can I call you sometime? = I'd like to have sex with you.
9. Do you want to go to a movie? = I'd like to have sex with you.
10. Can I take you out to dinner? = I'd like to have sex with you.
11. I don't think those shoes go with that outfit = I'm gay.
