Quit Claim - Divorce Scam

Wife convinced husband to quit claim home to her to protect their future financial stability due to potential liability of truck driving job, then filed for divorce. Wife then refused to return equity in home. Although husband willingly signed quit claim deed, husband is now without legal recourse to recapture equity in home.

Lawyers seem helpless in this matter. Is there some consumer advocacy, or personal advocacy group that might be able to sway the outcome here?

Please send email to mlark@comcast.net for any suggestions ...

Thanks

Re: Quit Claim - Divorce Scam

Do they have a mortgage on the property in both of their names? If so the financial organization might not allow for the quit claim? If there is a mortgage, it wouldn't hurt to check with the mortgage owner?
