Better Universe Charity SCAM Exposed...DECEPTIVE MARKETING!
Read Below....This is appalling. The more I read the "bologne" that this company Better Universe spills out the more I wish that the government could get involved. The company continues to release stories below that are entirely unfounded and based totally on hype. My personal thoughts on seeing the hyped up promotions as below; after being a representative for months in the company; is that you have to be a completely niave or just an idiot to believe any of this garbage. Note the bold text and my comments in parenthesis following.
We are building a global Membership of caring people (I've meet some of the most deceiving and manipulative individuals I've ever met in my life in Better Universe) who receive wonderful personal benefits while we build our profits in order to increase our charitable contributions (The company and representatives could care less abour charities. All they care about is putting money in their pockets and they'll do and say whatever it takes to do so. This is a fact!) We use the established connection between entertainment and charity to fight poverty (The company donates a 10% of their profits; so they say; and all it is is a well devised marketing scheme.) by offering our Members great prices (The prices are excessively higher than anywhere else on the internet) in our own online store (The online store is totally unmanageable, there are not even descriptions of the titles or photos to know what you are looking at.) where they can purchase entertainment and specialty products.
The Live Aid concert in 1985 firmly established the Entertainment-Charity model. (This is where Better Universe attempts to put themselves in the same light as Live Aid. If you read into this you'll understand that this is very deceptive. You can not compare an MLM Pyramid to an event like Live Aid. It's total hype meant to deceive people.) While being broadcast by satellite from two continents, over one billion people watched Live Aid and donated over $140 million for the starving children in Ethiopia. Since then, entertainment events of all types have been successfully used to raise money.
Better Universe uses the Entertainment-Charity model and adds a new element: personal rewards. Not only the rewards of Membership but also the generous financial rewards (This is a total lie. You receive very little compensation for the price you pay to be rep for Better Universe, which can cost from $510.00 to $2399.00 per year.) to we offer our Reps for inviting new people who become Members. This new Entertainment-Charity-Personal Rewards model has the potential to raise more money faster than previously possible. (This is total hype and very deceptive.)
Better Universe has interest in a Streaming Movie technology (They have been telling people this for nearly 2 years along with dozens of other MLMs that have since gone out of business) that will allow us to deliver Popular Content (movies, music, games) to our Members as well as Specialized Content from Celebrities from all fields of entertainment who want to appeal to our targeted Membership of entertainment product buyers. As our Membership base grows, our plans include Webcasting special "Live Aid" type of events (This is very deceptive and this was just annouced as a marketing scheme after the recent Live 8 shows were announced. Totally unfounded and extremely deceptive marketing.) that add the ***** of the Internet to our Entertainment-Charity-Personal Rewards model. The future is very exciting for Better Universe! (The future of Better Universe consists of nothing, but unfounded truths, hype, deception and manipulation. If you think this is bad you ought to listen to a representative promote it as if these things will happen next week. The company has been using this type of deception for the past year to lure new reps. The marketing continues to change with one promise on the back burner and a new one brewing.)

Re: Better Universe Charity SCAM Exposed...DECEPTIVE MARKETING!
Better.... she said the Company was giving 10% to charity.
Question for the masses:
I notice alot of Companies offer charity giving and at the same time offer "personal" rewards. Does this make sense or am I just really untrusting in that to many charity comes from the heart and not from the pocketbook?

Re: Better Universe Charity SCAM Exposed...DECEPTIVE MARKETING!
I am the Chief Marketing Officer for Better Universe.
We do give at least 10% of our profits to charities that help feed children, charities like World Vision and more recently UNICEF. Those donations are facilitated by our Foundation, BetterUniverseCares.org, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
We currently feed children in 26 countries around the world, and we will feed millions. We do offer personal rewards in the form of commissions and bonuses to our Reps who refer new Members to Better Universe. We know that people would give more if they had more to give, and we know that people are more drawn to things that benefit them. It is a unique and we feel necessary approach. Charity alone has not solved the problem; over 30,000 children still die of hunger each day. That is not acceptable.
We have new and unique business model; we take the profits normally kept by companies and offer our Members great savings on products and services and also cash-back shopping at over 1200 top online merchants including Wal-Mart and Target. We seek to enhance the lives of our Members in many ways, including simple training on successful living. We continue to add more Member benefits as we grow.
We now have Members in 94 countries and we’ve just completed new marketing and promotional systems to accelerate our growth. We have chosen to be a part of the global roll-out of the new miPhone VoIP service. You can read the press release here:
http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/051115/latu050.html?.v=31
We have also just announced the start of the $1.5 million dollar mass-media promotion with prominent marketer Beryl Wolk. It is true that this campaign took a year to get underway; that is simply a function of the realities of business, not any kind of scam. You may read the blog entry announcing the campaign on the Beryl's World website here:
http://www.berylsworld.com//newslett...etter_1130.cfm
There is ***** in numbers, and as we grow and help our Members and our Reps to become more prosperous, we may also help shift the thinking that allow children to die as a result of extreme poverty. There is plenty of money in the world. We help to make sure it gets to the right places.
We are very proud of the work we do.
Better Universe was the target of an Internet Smear campaign earlier this year. Those competitors have moved on to smear other companies and then move in and recruit their distributors. Better Universe has risen above our critics and are focused on our mission of People Helping People Change The World™.
I write this not to try to change the minds of any posters who believe that all network marketing companies are scams. I write it for readers who may find this page in their research; in an effort to tell the rest of the story.
Best Wishes To All,
PHIL ZULLI
Chief Marketing Officer

Re: Better Universe Charity SCAM Exposed...DECEPTIVE MARKETING!
Better yet people, just forget all of the companies that say they are a legit donations company. Why not just donate directly to the needy? Forget about profit and making money when it comes to donations companies. If you're looking to get money, just continue on with your search for a position with a company that you actually applied for. It is too risky to know who to believe anymore with regards to these supposed charity companies.
I don't see why a legit company would be posting to a message forum anyhow, seems fishy already. Didn't even say anything outside of the script.
Sending you all my best wishes.

Next time you get your paycheck YOU should donate 90%, better yet, donate the whole thing. At least they are actually doing something.....which, by the way, is a lot more than you could ever do.

I agree 100% (especially the part about it being too risky to know who to trust.) I work on developing multiple streams of income and I give to charity regularly, but I do not mix the two. I use one to feed the other.
World Vision and UNICEF are both worthy causes, but I'm sure neither would appreciate thier organizations being used as enticements to promote MLM or network marketing activity.

Bu||sh¡t!What we actually do is increase our expenses to make little profit so that we don't give much away. Phil, you pu$$y, post a record of the donations with your consent to have the charity validate it.

Re: Better Universe Charity SCAM Exposed...DECEPTIVE MARKETING!
Update on my Better Universe Involvement
I am no longer associated in any way with Better Universe. I was hired to turn that company around and create a strong, honest opportunity for those that want to work from home to create a better life for themselves. I saw that I was unable to bring that company up to my standards and resigned at the end of last year.
Best wishes to all,

Re: Better Universe Charity SCAM Exposed...DECEPTIVE MARKETING!
Oh, aren't we all getting tired of the same old excuses Phillip darling? First there was Herbalife and the "never before availaible opportunity", "don't you dare miss this one", "catch the wave" untill NSA came along, same dialoque. Then back to Herbalife when they came out with cheap overpriced ***** filters that went dead in under a year. Then NSA again, then Omnitrition, then Belly Beans (ha--ha-ha-Belly Beans???) then Amazon Herb, Sea Silver, Better Universe yadda, yadda, yadda. All of these you promoted like they were once in a lifetime opportunities. Always offering the same excuse filled apologies for the other programs then calling us sounding like a dog in heat or a marathom runner who just ran 5 miles in 3 minutes. So much hype....so much b.s. In other wprds, you were looking after the almighty dollar to justify your not willing to work a regular job like everybody else even if it meant pulling people into programs that were flat out junk.
Interesting that all of these companies were/are in legal difficulties, yet you continued to support them and act as though none of the legal woes were real, untill you found another program to try to sucker us in too.
Why don't you just admit that you never throughly check out any program you get into OR don't know what the hell you are doing OR don't give a crap about your fellow reps, only their checkbooks and credit cards.
Better Universe didn't measure up to your standards? And what standards is that? They took you off salary and wanted you to go out in the field and work and try to prove yourself? What is the most money you have ever made? What is your net worth? Let me guess, you probably carry your net worth around in your front pocket right?
Give it up Phil. Everyone knows you for what you really are. A deceptive liar.
What scam, er, program will be hawking next? I can't wait to find out.

Re: Better Universe Charity SCAM Exposed...DECEPTIVE MARKETING!
Time is a great teacher.
I am learning more and more how competitors, and others, can post whatever they like immaterial of facts and then in a concerted effort get those posts high on the search engines.
The result is that when someone does a search on my name they get a headline about scams and deception. A pretty low strategy, but we live in a world of diversity.
If someone takes the time and actually follows the link and reads the post, they can draw their own conclusion about my activities and motivations. But unfortunately some only have time for the headline, and that prevents them from getting to know me. The wisdom of time has taught me that the right people will not be slowed down by a headline.
I am very proud to have served people and helped them to learn about natural health and income alternatives for 30 years. Truth, integrity, and love have always been the highest priorities in my life, and I am fortunate to be able to touch the lives of others in such a profound way.
My very best to everyone, including my detractors. I am delighted that I threaten you and your devices.

Re: Better Universe Charity SCAM Exposed...DECEPTIVE MARKETING!
To Junior, at least P.T. Barnum made some people happy, was entertaining and offered somewhat of a service to people.
To Phill Zulli, your only threat is to us and our social contacts who you try to sucker into your pyramid schemes, inventory load with useless herbal products, ***** filters, amazon herbs, belly beans, diet cookies, overpriced liquid nutracueticals like seasilver anc charity scams like Better Universe and more recently M2C Global ATC drink and then you write using various aliases hawking and hyping "possible honorable MLMs" and want to talk about integrity? Well, you can spell it, but can you and do you actually practice it?
In another regard, it did my heart good to see Senator John Kerry make a total fool out of himself and prove to the whole world what most of us said about him two years ago was exactly true. Of course, many of us know that you were one of the principle promoters for this Massachusetts senator 2 years ago and launched a "Kerry for Prez in 2008" campaign. You sure know how to pick em Phillip darling! Illegal pyramid schemes, charity scams and lying politicians with phony military records. So far you are batting a 1000% on picking LOSERS!
Hey Phil,
CA, CA, CATCH THE WAVE!!!!!!!!!! BWHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

Re: Better Universe Charity SCAM Exposed...DECEPTIVE MARKETING!
Oh Phillip, I forgot to ask you, what was the real reason why you dropped out of Better Universe? Of course I could also ask what the real reason was that you dropped out of Sea Silver, Omnitrition, Herbalife (what 3-4 times), Diet Cookies, Belly Beans (ha-ha-ha) Amazon Herb Company, NSA (what 2-3 times???) and God knows how many other schemes and scams that you have been involved with. I have heard that MLM has a lot of turnover, but you Phillip darling give whole new meaning to the word turnover.
And you are concerned that people can check your name on a search engine and find this stuff? The easiest way to fix your past is to start a new present and a better future. Stop scamming people and acting like a MLM Junkie, like a Network Marketing prostitute jumping out of one bed into another. And stop hawking loser companies with no future that you never took the time to research very carefully to begin with but where and are only looking for the fast buck. Or better yet, find a legitimate way to make a living.
Now of course you can always create multiple aliases as you have been to try to create an image of yourself that is quite different from reality.
Yes Phil, people can decide for themselves.
Hope your 2007 is better than your 1977 to 2006 has been. Hope you find a real opportunity and a genuine and legitimate way to make a living Phil. Who knows, you may even find some peace with yourself!

Re: Better Universe Charity SCAM Exposed...DECEPTIVE MARKETING!
This is not a scam if you want to take a chance making some real money... I know you all have seen these before - but have you ever TRIED one??? Think about it - seriously...
HOW TO TURN $6 INTO $6,000!! No Scam. Really Works.
THIS REALLY CAN MAKE YOU EASY MONEY! IT WORKS! BUT YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW IT TO THE LETTER FOR IT TO WORK!!!
A little while back, I was browsing through newsgroup, just like you are now and came across an article similar to this that said you could make thousands dollars within weeks with only an initial investment of $6.00! So I thought, "Yeah, right, this must be a scam", but like most of us, I was curious, so I kept reading. : Anyway, it said that you send $1.00 to each of the 6 names and address stated in the article. You then place your own name and address in the bottom of the list at #6, and post the article in at least 200 newsgroups. (There are thousands) No catch, that was it. So after thinking it over, and talking to few people first, I thought about trying it. I figured what have I got to lose except 6 stamps and $6.00, right? Like most of us I was a little skeptical and a little worried about the legal aspects of it: All, So I checked it out with the U.S. Post Office (1-800-725-2161) and they confirmed that it is indeed legal! Then I invested the measly $6.00. Well GUESS WHAT!!?. Within 7 days, I started getting money in the mail! I was shocked! I figured it would end soon, but the money just kept coming in. In my first week, I made about $25.00. By the end second week I had made a total over $1,000.00! This is now my fourth week and I have made a total of just over $10,000.00 and it's still coming in rapidly. Its: Certainly worth $6.00, and 6 stamps, I have spent more than that on the lottery!!
STEP 1: Get 6 separate pieces of paper and write the following on each piece of paper "PLEASE PUT ME ON YOUR MAILING LIST." Now get 6 US $1.00 bills and place ONE inside EACH of the 6 pieces of paper so the bill will not be seen through the envelope to prevent thievery. Next, place one paper in each stating the above phrase, your name and address, and a $1.00 bill. What you are doing is creating a service by this. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY LEGAL! Mail the 6 envelopes to the following addresses:
#1) Sherry Birkinbine
900 E. Lyon Apt 2
Des Moines, IA 50309
#2) Andrew Soodeen
3022 San Carlos Drive
Margate, FL 33063
#3) Deric Mushung
1137 McMormick Dr.
Monroe MI, 48162
#4) Tawny Cole
3512 Lockport St.
Las Vegas, NV 89129
#5) Marc Mushung
407 Sackett Ave.
Monroe MI, 48162
#6) Becca Crossno
1445 Garfield Ave.
Blaine, WA 98230
STEP 2: Now take the #1 name off the list that you see above, move the other names up (6 becomes 5, 5 becomes 4, etc.) and add YOUR Name as number 6 on the list
STEP 3: Change anything you need to, but try to keep this article as close to original as possible. Now, post your amended article to at least 200 newsgroups, message board. (I think there are close to 24,000 groups) All you need is 200, but remember, the more you post, the more money you make!
DIRECTIONS----HOW TO POST TO NEWSGROUPS, MESSAGE BOARD
You do not need to re-type this entire letter to do your own posting. Simply copy and paste to a blank document. Search for (on-line forums, message boards, chat sites, discussions.) Paste this article and form your document You're done with your first one!. : Congratulations! THAT'S IT! All you have to do is jump to different newsgroups and post away, after you get the hang of it, and it will take about 30 seconds for each newsgroup!
REMEMBER, THE MORE NEWSGROUPS OR MESSAGE BOARD YOU POST IN, THE MORE MONEY YOU EILL MAKE!! BUT YOU HAVE TO POST A MINIMUM OF 200** That's it! Millions upon millions of newsgroups, on-line forums, message boards, chat sites, discussions and so on are accessed everyday, by people who are honest and willing to try and make some extra cash. Remember, play FAIRLY and HONESTLY and this will work.
Most people think this is a scam, but you actually do get thousands of dollars out of it, if the process is followed, it works!!!!

Re: Better Universe Charity SCAM Exposed...DECEPTIVE MARKETING!
Cheri, if that's your name,
I don't know why you continue to try to slander my name.
I have nothing to do with the posting of the above chain letter, and there's nothing in that letter that would lead you to believe it has anything to do with me. Yet you try to acssociate me with scams. I have written many articles warning people about chain letters and money games.
If somehow I have affected your life in a negative way at sometime during my career, call me and let's talk about it.
But I don't think that's the case. All of your posts about my past are inaccurate. You clearly don't know me. I think you have another rea$on for singling me out and attacking so viciously on this forum.
I live a really great life, surrounded by postive happy people and my days are filled helping others to have a better live themselves. I don't have the time to play back and forth with you and the only reason I am replying again is for those who don't know me yet and may read your posts based on your clever Google positioning. It should be interesting to readers of this forum that for someone who pretends to "bust scammers" you are such a great manipulator of search engine positioning as to have this thread appear so high on search lists. Hmmmm. Worth thinking about.
I hope you discover better things to do with your life and find more fulfillment.
Happy Holidays and a Wonderful 2007 to all!

Re: Better Universe Charity SCAM Exposed...DECEPTIVE MARKETING!
why dont you pay back all the money we members poured into better universe over the years promised people under us would contribute to our membership fee too and nothing happened but some discounts on Cds for me. We were promised the moon and got nothing. It also fits the pyramid description of a business too which is illegal. How could you in all consciousness be a part of this and not refund peoples money?

Re: Better Universe Charity SCAM Exposed...DECEPTIVE MARKETING!
Excellent suggestion to Phil Zulli. Why not pay back all the money you cost innocents to lose with the Better Universe scam. And t hen once that's done, you could pay all the other poor losers you suckered into Sea Silver, Amazon Herb, NSA, Omnitrition, Herbalife etc. etc. You deny even being involved with these companies Phil? DO you really want to go there? Do you want me to post names of people who got screwed (financially) by following your advice and jumping into these companies that you say you were never involved with? C'MON PHIL! IS THAT THE BEST YOU CAN DO?
Have A Nice Day

Re: Better Universe Charity SCAM Exposed...DECEPTI
For all you considering joining beryl wolk, I am here to tell you that I worked for him and had to leave as I could not stomach his narcissism and deceit. At lunch one day he said, "isn't this the greatest bullsh-- you ever heard." That did it for me. He is a great talker, but so was hitler and a certain junior senator so much in the news. Run when you even read his name as fast as your legs can carry you. Some people see right through beryl immediately and others because they need help desperately hang on his every word.

Re: Better Universe Charity SCAM Exposed...DECEPTI
What has become of Phil Zulli? Did my exposing him on this and other boards finally get him shut down (I HOPE!!) Or perhaps better yet, maybe Phillip cleaned up his ways and has gone clean (I doubt it) Last I heard he was running a Time Share Boiler Room somewhere in Florida, the mecca for scams. Then I heard he was working another pyramid scheme. Anybody hear anything about Phil? Perhaps he is an Admissions Advisor or Enrollment Specialist for Kaplan. Seems like he would fit in perfectly there.

I suggest this "spokesman" for "A Better Universe" use Spell-Check before posting comments/replies. Oh...and a crash course in grammar 101 isn't a bad idea either. (Pssst! While you're at it, pass this along to Mr. Zulu...Sulu...Zulli!) Frankly gents, Mike said sardonically, if you're REALLY interested in a better universe, why doncha leave THIS one? buh-BYE!!
