Online Dating Scam = Redhotpie

Gday. know this is a US based site but I imagine the entire industry is premised on a scam. After feeling ripped off after buying premium membership, I conducted some research on this adult dating website called Redhotpie. Its a scam and I have the proof. (Believe me, I have 20 years experience as a Systems Analyst)

1. go to this scamming website www.redhotpie.com.au and set up a user eg "Hunky Guy" in the write up make him out to be a Brad Pit kind of bloke that girls can't resist - Make the guy sound like some sort of sensitive caring new age kind of dude, I even used a photo of an hot lookin' actor from overseas. Just Remember the options you click for this guy.

2. Now set up a second user eg "Geek Man" , in the write up make this dude as unappealing as yo can, I used the eg of the 40 year old virgin who still lives with his mum. Now for the important bit, make sure all the clickable options for the 2 stooges you set up are exactly matching.

3. Each night you open up 2 internet explorer windows and log each stooge onto Redhotpie and leave them signed on for a couple of hours.

What you'll notice is that EXCACTLY the same chicks look at each stooges profile. Whether he is God's gift to women or the dork who works in the IT area they get visited by the same babes.

4. Also, send a flirt to the same obvious fake female profile (there are also a few fake couples but many more fake females) and just wait a few days until both these accounts receive the same reply flirts at the SAME time. Now that my friends is confirmation of a scam. Redhotpie is a Scam, pure and simple. If you do not want to get scammed, avoid Redhotpie.
Reports them to fair trading bodies. Write you opinion on sites like this and other scam registrees and the product review. Do not let these *******s get away with this and basically steal money form your pocket.

Ok, if Piratebay is claiming that site is a scam why are you accusing him/her of being in league w/ the site or whatever?

Seriously do you think that if I was involved i would have brought up the accusation?
Why would you think that?

Any way I hope you people can read my first post and try the experiment out for yourselves and post here the interesting results you inevitable come up with.
:p
P.S I have screen capture of the same members sending message at the EXACT same time that proofs they are Bots (sex bot?) or somthing. if you would like to see for yourself. please tell me if I can post them here.

Re: Online Dating Scam = Redhotpie

You are so Right there are now so many dating online sites that are using mail bots w/phony profiles ,giving out phony replies ,many use the exact same reply all w/ hot pics included of real beautiful women, real phony profiles, real phony replies made simply to entice any real red blooded male, or lure you in to buy a real premium membership and Amateur Match.com is just 1 of many scamming now online ,It is so obvious, luckily I was not just dumb enough to get scammed, or conned by any date site ,Now only after having my profile listed for 1 day I received maybe 15 replies w/ sexy pics of many model looking, overly impatient hot women only, most of them are supposedly located in my own area, or living in my State, or my City,a few were just Nationally , but all showed me great interest in my profile, all were begging me please to email them back soon. Now to date all these messages received have not stopped, even though when my profile was posted there is no pic of myself ,my personal contact email address info with my IM ID now at Yahoo s is included .Now to date not even 1 reply has been received at my personal address or from any of the hot women. I haven't received not even 1 IM at Yahoo ,This is 1 of the biggest scam sites around online today . I guarantee you that if you were to sign up for their upgrade membership tomorrow all the emails that I received from with interested beauties would cease immediately. They would all become unreachable ,I would not even receivereplies from messages that I sent, So be very very careful when choosing any dating site online .Most do use Real Mail bots ,use very little Real Women !....
Also Is $24.95 a Mos. too little to risk, or throw down the drain? If there are any non- believers . Please go to Amateur Match.Com for their free trial signup ,you'll see for yourself ,you'll also see the exact same results I did ...

Goodluck,Beware!....

Re: Online Dating Scam = Redhotpie

So many of these sites are a scam that it truly is an indightment on how slackly our consumer protection agencies are run that they can so blatantly and overbearingly advertise themselves all over the net and still get away with presenting so many fake profiles to the public and never be investigated in a thorough way. All you have to do is take note of people's headlines on REDHOTPIE to see it's a scam. I found 2 headlines identical to each other within 2 pages! I found that nearly every name has this pattern of being something like 'horny_66' and, let's face it, does every single person online use an underscore and numbers when writing up their name? The implied psychological suggestion from names like this is that these names are ones that they have had given to them when making up an email at hotmail, or whatever email address they created, and decided to use for their profile name, but if you Google these names in Australia you'll find you get 0 hits every time, cause they don't exist! But overseas they do. Funny that! The people that run these sites really are scum, cheating people for profit and unfortunately, since they're nearly all owned by corrupt media moguls, who will manipulate your opinion to profiteer from useless wars and trick you into thinking how they want to cement their positions as overlords, the very same governments that are supposed to protect us from their exploitation will kindly turn a blind eye to it all.
If there are bugger all profiles on free dating sites then why would there be so many on ones you have to pay for.... anyone else see the logic?
Try Plentyoffish.com this is completely free and is the third biggest dating site in the world.

Re: Online Dating Scam = Redhotpie

They have another scam going.

Do a search for some random specifications, in advanced search, make sure you select a few options.

You'll get a huge number of hits. If you page through them you'll notice many users are listed more than once.

Further, they have no policy to delete or hide old accounts. There is accounts that hasn't been used for years.

If you were to get non duplicate search results, and exclude old accounts. They'd probably have very few accounts.

I'm sure that's why they don't (like a few other dating sites have) have a option to limit the criteria for users based on last login time!

Maybe they should feature on one of those current affair programs .. that'll break them :-)

Redhotpie is definitely a scam!

I have been scamed not once, or twice, but three times by Redhotpie! Yes unfortunately I was lured into becoming a member.

This is how the scam works. You can create a profile for free. Some bogus member will contact you after. In order to reply to that member you obviously have to pay to become a member. Now that you have paid-up and tried to contact the bogus member you will not get anymore replies what so ever! For the remainder of your membership you will not get any other "spontanious" expressions of interest.

Once my membership had lapsed the same thing happened. I received another "spontanious" expression of interest. This time from a different bogus member. Again after renewing my membership to contact the bogus member nothing happened. Same scenario - nothing happens for the duration of the membership.

On the third ocassion, you guessed it, exactly the same thing happened. Once again out of the blue someone sent me "a flirt". I renewed my membership and again nothing happens.

This time I contacted the Depatment of Fair Traiding in Australia. They tried looking into the matter. Guess what? there is a legal loop hole. There is a disclaimer on their site. This disclamer adds that RHP "is not responsible for the messages posted by members" (or words to that effect). This means RHP or anyone else for that matter can exploit this legal loop hole.

During this time, while a member, I tried to post a message on the RHP bulletin board. The message was to suggest that there was something suspicious happening on that site. I suspect the message was sensored by RHP as the message is not uploaded in realtime and ultimately not appearing on the BBS. I guess no other members got to read it. I also tried to post a message privately (re: RHP scam) to another member through the site. I never heard any response. I'm not supprised if the message was intercepted as well.

The other scam is, I belief, RHP is connected to a separate webcam site. RHP claims that they will remove scam members. Atleast they keep their word on that matter. But two years later bogus members connected to a webcam site are still creating bogus profiles. RHP knows about the URL address these bogus members send out to other lagitimate but gullible members (like me). Yet they do nothing to warn members by at least posting warnings on their bulletin board.

Re: Online Dating Scam = Redhotpie

Hi There,

We have been members of RHP for over 12 mths. During this time we have met some lovely people, however we also have been led astray by many many time wasters.
The icing on the cake for us is how we have been since before July 2008 been terribly victimized, harrassed and bullied by one of the RHP sponsors based in Brisbane.

This ongoing bullying has become such a problem where this rather pathetic, paranoid, selfish, inconsiderate, conartist BULLY has now manipulated the moderators of RHP to ban us from using the site, without explaination nor refund.

We are horrified that such a NASTY piece of work could so easily manipulate this chat site.

We are adiment to inform EVERYBODY we know and meet on what has been done to us by this nasty piece of work and it's vicious, vindictive, spiteful, jealous and irratical behaviour towards us and many others who it feels threatened by. And it is so easily threatened, eg.. as if a woman is prettier than it is it gets nasty, if people are having a better time other than in its pathetic excuse for a safe enjoyable venue, it gets nasty and each time will do it's darndest to make life difficult by bullying them, slandering them and making out these people are bad when the only BAD person is really IT.
We have a lot of friends all over Australia in all kinds of professions and one of our Lawyer friends told me that I should serve it a notice to sue as what it had done to provoke rhp to ban us for a totally unjust reason was against the law, and it needed to be shown it isn't above the law.
I agree and will be looking into it.

For those interested on what it was that got it so upset in chat I will tell you.
I was chatting to my friends and we were talking about what we had done on the weekend. My friends asked me what I had got up to and I told them that we had gone down to Surfers to a swingers ball of which we had won $500 for being one of the best sexiest dressed couples in a crowd of over 600 people. I said that it was the best function we had ever been to for what we like within the lifestyle and how it was full of fun, sexy, easy going people who were great to socialise with.
I had heaps of chatters say congrats to me for the win and great stuff for such a fun weekend.. as you would to anyone, and next thing you know this person logs in says hello to those it wanted to and then typed in bold capitals in chat..... that it was inappropriate for me to advertise a AMM event on RHP chat and I answered it that I didn't and that IT DID, and I didn't say anything about the organisers etc., IT DID, other chatters piped up in my defence and said that I wasn't doing any harm as the event had passed and I hadn't mentioned any names etc.
I had one of the chatters whisper a warning to me that IT was trouble and that don't be suprised if IT caused trouble for me and got me banned from RHP..... well my friend was right as this friend had seen it happen to others on RHP before... exactly like what happened to us.

Then the next day when I went to go into rhp chat my access was denied.... and I didn't know why nor had I been told why, so I sent a very polite email to rhp asking what the problem was, and the response I got was that our membership had been cancelled and no refund was going to be given as our 'profile' was against the terms of use conditions on the site. I replied to the message saying that how we had been on there for over 12 mths and that we had never had any problems with our profile before and hadn't even changed it....lol... and that it was the same as anyone else on there etc. I gave RHP my ph number and politely asked them to call me so we could discuss the issue or what the problem was, only to be totally ignored.
So, as far as I see it.... is the site really RHP? or is it run by this nasty paranoid vindictive person who thinks its club is the only place in brisbane to have fun in.... um... hello.... we know for fact IT ISN'T and we personally know that there are other places WAY BETTER, classier and whose clientelle are cleaner, neater and genuinely kinder/nicer people.
Ultimately we are not at a loss for being banned from RHP as we hate bullies and hate it when people like this BULLY who has persistantly caused trouble for us in rhp before our banning for months, who in our opinion is the ULTIMATE bully, emails from people who know it say so as well and some tell us they are afraid to stand up for themselves to this Bully, as we have many lovely friends who also have friends of friends all over Australia, and at the end of the day are way more cleaner, classier, fun loving, kind, considerate and very sexy. No one needs to be intimidated or puppertiered by bullies and paranoid jealous idiots who are only burning their bridges and will end up very, very, very lonely and BROKE!
:yelc utelaughA:
No one with HALF A BRAIN would be so stupid..... hmmmm.... or would they????
Hmmm.... looks like they are.

Re: Online Dating Scam = Redhotpie

Better to sign up at a porn site then, there you at least get what you expect.

Online Dating is bull. When you like to chat virtually, go to MySpace, Orkut or similar, it's Free. Like to meet some folks, go out.

I never understood how someone pay's for this

Re: Online Dating Scam = Redhotpie

You might need to add another scam site to the list. XXXblackbook.com. They do the same thing as Redhotpie with bots and all. While there are a few valid members on there, most of the hits are fake and some of the replies are men posing as women.
I nailed several profiles that stated that they were in my city of Memphis, TN when I emailed them asking them about the really cool weather we had been having, what they thought about the white mayor, and what they thought of living in St. Francis county. I received 4 replies from 4 of so called women that were on there and they all stated that they loved the cool weather, the white mayor and living in St. Francis county.
They were busted in that Memphis is in Shelby County- there is not a St. Francis county in TN, the temps have been in the upper 90s for the past three weeks and were near 100 when I sent the messages, and finally Memphis has a black mayor....

So Beware of xxxblackbook.com.

Re: Online Dating Scam = Redhotpie

You guys were right on the money about RedHotPie being a massive scam.

The ACCC (Australian fair trading mob) is taking them to the Federal Court and allege they have created their own profiles of women to use on their website and then used the girls to send messages! I knew it! They have been printing their own money by praying on consumers!

Guys upgrade, like me, thinking they are getting messaged by these hot ladies and they are all just fake and created by the RedHotPie people. I bet there are at least a THOUSAND fake girls on there! Probably hundreds in each city!

Somehow the ACCC found out and they have gone to court to bust them. See http://www.accc.gov.au/content/index.phtml/itemId/900716

Spread the word! I am certainly going to be avoiding RedHotPie. If what is alleged by the ACCC is true then what a sham they and the directors McGuire and Semaan are. I don’t think the ACCC would just make stuff like this up.

I bet they just start another website and rip people off anyway. The company name they are trading according to a website ownership search under is “Jetplace Pty Ltd”. BEWARE OF REDHOTPIE and anything to do with McGuire and Semaan.

Re: Online Dating Scam = Redhotpie

They've hit facebook as well. I've run into them when adding friends for the legit Zynga Games such as Mafia Wars, WWII, Special forces, and Air Combat. Have some BS link listed in their profile for you to add yourself to their mafia that redirects you to xxxblackbook, redhotpie, or some webcam porn site. They also have links to Plenty of Fish- a legit online dating site- that redirect to some pay camera site. They bust themselves however whenever they say they are in your area on the redirected site, but under info they are in India, Nigeria, or some other place overseas. I had one recently try to convince me that she was living in my area by using the name of an apartment complex as the name for the area of town she was in. Well just be careful out there.

Re: Online Dating Scam = Redhotpie

Redhotpie is a massive fraud beyond any doubt whatsoever.

The last time I looked fraud was a criminal offence in every civilised country on earth.

Another fraudulent dating site that deserves the atention of legal authorities is BeNaughty.com.

As far as I know these sites are not connected but use almost identical tactics.

There are enough fake profiles on both of them to populate a city!

So whenever I read a post anywhere saying how cool RHP or BN or any similar dating site is, I immediately suspect the author of the post to be an employee of that firm.

All dating sites attract their share of scammers, but these two not only appear to be behind the main game but also to be the operators of the peripheral scams.

Complain all you want about a scammer to the admin of these sites and absolutely nothing gets done no matter what evidence you supply to support your complaint

What the owner/operators of these sites are doing is criminal by any moral or legal yardstick you wish to apply.

As such, they should be prosecuted to the very limit of the law.

Subjected to financially crippling fines and made to languish in jail for a year or three.

Avoid these sites like the plague and warn others to do likewise!

These theiving low lives are growing obscenely rich at your expense!

If you have been ripped off by Redhotpie, or any similar scam site, be certain to report the matter to the fair trading authorities in your home country and also police.
