No, it's not waived.

It's reimbursed.

I pay $49.95 on the 10th of every month. As long as I have 6 active RTA's on the 30th, that $49.95 is then sent back to me on the 11th. Tiny little details like this make a big impact on how things are actually perceived in our industry and what constitutes a legitimate tax write off to the IRS.

I like going with the lower number and being surprised. Under promise and over deliver is a big thing with me. Gives people more bang for their buck.

Maybe so...

We all know that YTB “Booked” $176 Million in 2006 from our web sites. (Verified number from the CFO of Travel Weekly not YTB)
http://travelweekly.texterity.com/tr...0070625/?pg=47

We all know that 30% - 35% of those booking were in the form of cruises.
http://travelweekly.texterity.com/tr...20070108/?pg=9

That gives us a number of $52.8 Million (based on the conservative 30%) in cruise bookings alone.

As a conservative number we’ll use 14% commission. (Most are 16% like our largest supplier Carnival.)

That’s $7.4 Million paid to YTB and $4.4 Million to the field just on cruise bookings alone. Leaving 70% for whatever else we booked in 2006, or more the $123 Million.

If you look at Earnings for 2006 reported to the for the same time period (2006) to the SEC, YTB earned $7.3 Million and paid out just $4.8 Million in Travel Commission.

Where are the commissions on the SEC report for more than $123 Million in bookings? Are you trying to tell everyone here that YTB was paid NOTHING in Commission for more than $123 Million?

Based on the way your looking at “the numbers” which you’ve said yourself don’t lie and are easy to figure out, that’s what you trying to push here. The numbers don’t lie right? Then where is the money Chris?

If you want YTB to report commissions to appease your bogus formula, we have a serious legal issue here. We can’t report money to the SEC we haven’t been paid for yet. While $176 Million was booked in 2006, we simply can’t report earnings to the SEC until the Travel has been consumed and then paid by our vendors.

I can live with a young punk like you calling me a liar, but reporting money that we simply haven’t been paid yet consists of heavy fines, jail time, or both.
