Missouri Based Envelope Stuffing Schemes...
If you found this post by way of searching for information about a Missouri Based Company which heavily advertises various different envelope stuffing and mailing schemes you are in luck today...
THE BOTTOM LINE Do NOT send money to any company in MISSOURI which offers to pay you any money to stuff or mail envelopes. You will be sadly disappointed at what you receive. In fact, you won't even receive a good book on mail order! NOPE! You'll receive 20 or 30 sheets of paper stapled together outline a plan where you put up flyers to get people to send you money so you can send them the same crap you received! I do NOT know how the guy who owns this company sleeps and night selling such garbage. The postage on the package I received was only $1.35 yet he charges me $6 postage and handling. Even if you send it back for a refund HE STILL MAKES MONEY!!! This guy operates under so many different business names and mailing addresses in MISSOURI it's nearly impossible for anyone to catch on. Listed below are a number of business names and addresses which I found from other ads around the country: FINANCIAL RESEARCH Phil Ferguson 107 SE 291 HWY #189 Lees Summit MO 64063 NATIONAL Stacey Mitchell PO BOX 151 Greenwod MO 64034 AMERICAN FINANCIAL PUBLICATIONS Bill Michaels PO BOX 162 Greenwood MO 64034 WR PUBLICATIONS WEALTH RESEARCH Paul Clifford (Nationally Recognized Moneymaking Expert) 432 SW Ward Rd #150 Lee Summit MO 64081 MIDWESTERN MAILERS 705B SE Melody Ln #343 Lees Summit MO 64063 REAL WEALTH PUBLICATIONS PO BOX 6782 Lees Summit MO 64064 CONSUMER RESOURCE MANAGEMENT 3601 S. Noland Rd #20 INDEPENDENCE MO 64055 It should be a CRIMINAL ACT to use such misleading advertisements to sell such crap through the mail. With all the different business names and personal names I am sure the BBB and even the FTC have a difficult time managing all the complaints. Trust me. I have NOTHING to gain by posting here. I just want to help others who are down to there LAST FEW BUCKS to avoid being taken by this company. You'd be better off buying some widgets and selling them at a flea market than spend your money on this stuff. Of course, I'm just pissed because my own wife fell for this crap without asking me first-LOL! |
Re: Missouri Based Envelope Stuffing Schemes...
How old is this scam? 50...maybe 60 years old?
|
Re: Missouri Based Envelope Stuffing Schemes...
Think about it. If you really could makes Thousands of dollars a week just stuffing envelopes, Lawyers and Doctors would quit their jobs to sit at home making $2000 a week stuffing envelopes. Less traffic on the highway. This is an old scam, one of the first ones invented.
Save your money buddy! You would be lucky to make a buck a month. Even that is very slim to none. |
Re: Missouri Based Envelope Stuffing Schemes...
In answer to the person who emailed me:
"Yes. I believe LANCE MURKIN is the one behind many (if not all) of these companies. And Yes... I agree with you 100% that he has a lot of nerve showing his face in his sales literature. |
Re: Missouri Based Envelope Stuffing Schemes...
Too Funny Snoringdog. Lance Murkin called me about 2 years ago promoting his mail order business. He was telling me that you can get rich by mailing his postcards. I told him: I wasn't born yesterday  . He promotes alot of things.

There it is again..."We will pay you $2.00 for each piece of mail you process Guaranteed! $39.95 Financial Research, MO2 107 SE 291 Hwy. #189, Lee's Summit, MO 64063. Glad I Googled it. Almost sent for the info and "materials". Thank you Scam.com -Lourdes :) |
Re: Missouri Based Envelope Stuffing Schemes...
Thank you scam.com for your information.
A friend of mine received the Financial Research brochure from Phil Ferguson, and I volunteered to research that company on the internet. But wait, there's more! Here's the part of the scam to make you laugh (if you haven't lost money to them): The address of Financial Research 107 SE M 291 Hwy, #189 Lees Summit, MO 64063 is actually a mail pickup box at the local Express Pak 'N Ship store in a strip mall. So, think about it. They will receive your check for $40 at a mail and package shipping store. If they had anything to send out, they'd use the services of the same store for far less than $2 per envelope. Now ask yourself, why would a company pay YOU $2 to stuff each envelope? They won't! It's a scam! Their brochures have no contact information, other than the address to mail your check to. No telephone number. Nothing. If they cash(ed) your check and don't follow through, what will you be able to do? It's not even the U.S. Post Office's responsibility. USPS delivers bins of mail to the Express Pak 'N Ship location. The employees of the store sort the internal mail into the hundred or so different boxes of box holders, including Phil @ Financial Research, who can say he never received your angry letters. The State of Missouri Attorney General's Office is overwhelmed with constant complaints regarding such mail-order scams, as well as credit scams, that originate in Missouri. It seems to be a big business there. I hope this info is of value to others. |
Re: Missouri Based Envelope Stuffing Schemes...
OH MY GOODNESS!! Thank LORD I've found this Scam Dot Com thing!! I received Phil Ferguson's brochure couple days ago and I actually fell for it and in a bit here I am going to stop by the post office to mail out my order form and the materials fee, BUT THEN, I decided to research if I can get any general information on this Financial Research Home Mail Processing Program which locates in Lee's Summit MO BEFORE I go out to send my order form, etc. So yeah, I came across this scam website about THIS envelope stuffing work from home and goshness, I can not believe that I fell for it. Thank you Scam.com!!!!!!!! Now I can save myself $40.
Thank Lord! |
Re: Missouri Based Envelope Stuffing Schemes...
Well Hello,
This is Lance Murkin here. After reading all of these postings, I have a bit to say. First of all, i do NOT own or am affiliated with ALL of those companies listed. thats the first false thing. SECOND of all, i have NEVER called ANYONE on the phone and tried to get them to join anything i was promoting! i do NOT do phone solicitions! (i challenge the knuckle head who worte that to email me and lets chat because thats an out and out LIE! my email address is all over the internet my friend!) THIRD of all, i make every person i work with aware that in ANY business there are risks involved and do NOT guarantee any amount of money under any circumstances. FOURTH i ALWAYS give any person requesting a refund a full refund without argument. FIFTH, the guy who started this OBVIOUSLY did not ever order or read my material because we DO PAY PEOPLE for the work they do in our mail processing offer and DO NOT tell them to go out and sell the same package! that is pyramid scheme and i have never been involved in such a thing. all of my products and sales materials have been reviewed and cleared by my marketing attorney. i run an honest business and do my VERY BEST to help people make money from home. and as i stated, if they are unhappy with anything they get from me, they can simply return it for a refund. i wish you people would get your facts staright before you start posting outright lies about people. and if you people spent half as much time trying to make some money as you do pissing and moaning about being ripped off, you'd be making a real income by now. i have hundreds of folks you happily have made money using my systems over the years. too bad you folks will never be amoung the successful. |
Re: Missouri Based Envelope Stuffing Schemes...
Lance Murkin here again...one more thing. we DO charge $5.95 for shipping and handling....thats why it says AND HANDLING! because its not JUST for the shipping charge that snoring dog is crying about. i deal with over $300 a month in checks written on closed accounts as well people who destroy the materials before sending them back etc...thats the cost of doing business. i don't cry about it, i deal with it. but that $5.95 is (again) shipping AND handling which helps offset some of those costs that i can never recoup. its called running a business.

Dear Lance Murkin the Millionaire: First of all....I didn't appreciate the Private message you sent me. Second of all... I NEVER called you a scammer nor bad mouthed your business. Maybe it was someone posing as "Lance Murkin" I don't know. I was stating the fact I'm not a believer in envelope stuffing or mailing postcards. And why are you so upset. You're a millionaire so you should be celebrating. And for you to say: too bad us folks will never be among the successful. What do you know? Yes people have a right to piss and moan about certain situations. Don't worry about us and continue making money. |
Re: Missouri Based Envelope Stuffing Schemes...
Unlucky...right up above on this post is where you claim i called you tried to get you to join my program. and you know very well i NEVER did that. i have never called anyone and tried to get them to join anything. and if you people want to piss and moan its fine with me, i just wish you'd get your facts straight before you start writing a bunch of lies and posting them for the world to see!
my only issue with you (unlucky) was your LIE about me calling you and trying to get you to join my postcard dealership. i've never done that and you know it. |
Re: Missouri Based Envelope Stuffing Schemes...
heres the BOTTOM LINE...
all i have ever tired to do was offer people an honest and workable way to make some money from home. i have used and tested the methods i promote and in the case of our mail processing offer WE REALLY DO PAY PEOPLE for the envelopes they process and send in to us using our methods of promotion. they do NOT have to collect their money from the customer as snoring dog wrote (another LIE!). my only beef with the people on this post is that they have NOT written the truth about me or what my programs and products are. i have NEVER used the term envelope stuffing in anything i've ever promoted...there are so many lies written here i can't even cover them all. anyway, i just want folks to know i run an honest business, sell honest products and do my best to take care of each customer i have...and most of what is written in this post is a lie! |
Re: Missouri Based Envelope Stuffing Schemes...
I was reading a magazine and came across this ad. Name in the ad is Paul Clifford. Says send him 39.95 and he will send you a form that you fill out and mail into any one of 100 listings and they will send you a certified check for up to 2000.00 in 2 weeks. Is this the same guy?? address is in Lees Summit - Wealth Research????

hello...I just want to say that I have used many of lances programs and they all have worked fine! lance provides prompt responses and I have actually talked to lance on the phone and through email, learning countless amounts of knowledge through him and his programs..yes there are scams out there, but also on the other hand - you cant just lump in legitimate programs with that stereotype just because you didnt want to put forth the effort to do your homework and work the programs. I stand behind Lance 100% and anybody who knows Lance's dedication and legitimacy will stand behind him also. By the way, Hello Lance if you see this post!!! Thanks for helping me make money and gain TRUE knowledge about money-making programs!!! - Dustin Howell, Clovis, Ca.

Re: Missouri Based Envelope Stuffing Schemes...
My first time in this forum. I had actually mailed off for 5 of these different companies 4 in Missouri and 1 in Ohio.(only spent $9.00 total, but that wasn't the point) I was trying to call one of these businesses in Missouri because I only live a few miles from them and I was going to go there (or try to) to pick up my own supplies rather than spending the money for shipping and handling. Guess I shouldn't have been surprised, when I asked 1411 information for a phone number for those addresses, none of them had phone numbers. I haven't purchased any kits and probably won't. I'm glad I found this forum because I believe it's a scam too. If I wanted to try and save myself a little money buy going and picking up my own kit and maybe get to know the person behind it, why is there not a phone number listed?
To Mr. Murkin, if your company is ligit, email me with your phone number and tell me more about your business and allow me to meet with you and you can show me the ropes..... that is if you are for real. Please prove me wrong . . . |
Re: Missouri Based Envelope Stuffing Schemes...
Don't hold your breath.
Unless you would like to donate funds to Mr. Lance Murkin and his family I would not advise ordering anything from his company (he may have "some" good products but he engages in so many shady offers I would stay away). Lance Murkin will claim all he is trying to do is "Help People" earn money from home but in his heart he knows better, much better. You see, Lance Murkin is a very well educated and slick "Mail Order Marketer". Therefore this guy knows the numbers, the costs, response and what is REALLY possible as far as making a profit through the mail. It is not nearly as easy as his ads would lead you to believe. He knows damn well people who buy these offers aren't going to make a nickel (ever). How do I know this? Because Lance Murkin is a complete knock-off (similar) to a guy from the 80's named David Bendah in San Diego CA. David Bendah started out as a good guy with a few books he sold by mail and was legitimate. Later he got really greedy, hired writers to pump out books on ANYTHING that he could write an ad for to sell. And sell they did. He found that in mail order books DON'T SELL BOOKS. ADS SELL BOOKS! I had a friend who worked their and he always told me that "Books don't sell books dude. ADS SELL BOOKS". At least in mail order anyway. David Bendah whose company was called LION PUBLISHING sold over a hundred different get rich quick books. One of his biggest sellers were books on getting FREE MONEY From the government (Lance Murkin sells this same stuff). My friend told me they had so many books and so many full page ads in the SAME MAGAZINES that Bendah would set up MULTIPLE COMPANY NAMES in MULTIPLE CITIES in order to fool customers that the ads were from other firms and not his (Again, Lance Murkin does this as well). It was a real gambit. Some of the books my friend gave me who worked there were actually good. The old ones bendah wrote like "How to us your hidden potential to get rich". One on mail order and a few others on finding people with unclaimed money. However, A lot of them were complete crap hacked out by kids he hired to write for him. I remember the stories my friend would tell me about the sacks of mail everyday that would come loaded with checks. Tens of thousands of dollars a day. They would just keep coming day after day after day. Bendah even published one or two magazines that he filled with his own get rich quick ads. I remember them. They ere actually good looking magazines. They just had tons of get rich quick and business opp ads of which probably 60% were all his. As a kid I was a bit fascinated with it all and especially all the money. My friend would tell me bits that were hard to believe. For example, selling books for $20 that cost $3 to print and ship you would think would be easy. My friend said otherwise. He told me Bendah didn't barely even made any money off a new customers first order! He made ALL HIS MONEY when people made a 2nd and 3rd purchase. This amazed me as I saw many of the ads and the actually books you got if you ordered from my friend who worked there... let me tell you. MOST OF THEM WERE COMPLETE CRAP! I WOULD NEVER RE ORDER! I remember one book he sold had a big ad with a headline "LET DAVID BENDAH MAKE YOU RICH!". The ad went on and on and on and never really told you what the deal was about.. just that it had to do with TV and he wanted you to send him $10. For that $10 you got this little book on TV infomercials that was complete crap. I remember one day thumbing through Bendahs magazine and looking at the ads after my friend had told me the above information. I couldn't believe it. I said "I can't believe people keep ordering this crap!". He replied "Dude, in America people like to buy dreams. That's all we sell at this company. Dreams". It was well said. Again. Not all the books were crap. But most were and none of them ever lived up to he crazy ads that sold them. As far as threads on Lance Murkin I'd like to know where is wheelbarrow is. The wheelbarrow that he uses to carry his giant balls around in to justify the stuff he sells in those giant full page ads in all the magazines under numerous different names and addresses. Just like Bendah, these guys always redeem themselves with "I completely guarantee everything I sell and give refunds to anyone who asks". What a bunch of crap. The whole thing stinks and I saw it back in the 80's. Just shows that there is a sucker born (literally) about every minute and someone out there waiting to take em! Unless you need to be taught a lesson I would not send money to any of these guys. Again, you'd be better off gathering up junk in your house and selling it on ebay, or mowing lawns, or cleaning houses etc. And stay away from MLM and Network Marketing Too! Re: Missouri Based Envelope Stuffing Schemes...
Well, first of all i private messaged the guy who asked for my number 3 weeks ago and gave him my phone number. Haven't heard a word from him as far as i know. As far as eveything you said, well i guess you have all the answers. i don't care about your opinion, what bothers me is when you post stuff that is total lies...i haven't sold any books on grants in over 2 years...not one.
anyway, you have your opinion and its America, your intitled to it. but i've made a good living doing exactly what i teach others to do and i have some people (one even got on this site) who have done well. so if the numbers are all slanted as you say and my stuffs all crap, then how come people have used it and made money? like i say, its just your opinion, its not the truth... so best of luck to you snoring dog or whatever your name is. i wish you no ill will despite your personal attacks on me and the complete LIES you've posted here. i DO stand behind my products with a money back guarantee and i DO give refunds when anyone asks. and since when is having different companies under the same corporation a crime? i guess general motors shouldn't sell cars as chevrolet and pontiac or that pepsi shouldn't own taco bell... this could go on forever. you have your opinion and i have mine. best of luck to you... |
Re: Missouri Based Envelope Stuffing Schemes...
Someone, please feel free to post examples of this guys full page ads and website pitches here so we can put an end to this. There is only 1 reason why a mail order company would have nearly a DOZEN OR MORE DIFFERENT NAMES and MAIL BOX ADDRESSES THEY OPERATE FROM SELLING TO THE SAME PEOPLE OVER AND OVER.
Because they are trying to TRICK consumers into buying again from the some outfit that left them disappointed the first time! If people had a GOOD EXPERIENCE why would any company want to CONFUSE them by operating, advertising and mailing to them under a DIFFERENT name? They wouldn't. Not too mention paying someone to drive all over town picking up mail hardly makes any sense. (I always find it entertaining how these guys justify their business and existance). <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<(Someone, please post the ads and website copy so they do NOT send their hard earned money to ANY mail order companies in the state of MO.)>>>>>>>>>>>> |
Re: Missouri Based Envelope Stuffing Schemes...
well some people use more ****** complaining about everything than actually using a little effort trying things out. Lance is an honest mail order dealer and sells legitimate programs that work. If I have anything to do with it, I will be right beside lance defending him because I know what its like to be alone fighting for whats right and real. Like i said, yes there are scams out there, dont get me wrong - but your glass seems to be half empty my friend. obviously you have never tried any of lances programs, otherwise you would not be posting lies on this website. I think you should call lance and apologize. he gives out his phone number and will talk to you in person. yes, I have actually done direct mail with his and terry thomases programs and yes i have recieved orders of up to $300 at a time. I try to stray away from calling anybody names, but only an outright coward would be posting lies like you. thanks again Lance for offering legitimate programs and for helping me make an extra income on the side. im glad i found this thread. - dustin w howell - clovis, ca

I would be more interested in talking with Mr. Murkin. If you could email me your phone number I would like to learn your business. I have tried a few mail order schemes which turn out to be scams. I would like for someone to prove me wrong in that all are the same.

Re: Missouri Based Envelope Stuffing Schemes...
majic - it doesn't matter what state or what the guys name is. this is a very old scam. maybe it was one dollar the first time i saw it. he just sends you a post card that says, if you want to make money sending post cards, do like i do an run ads asking suckers to send you money. the modern scammers don't even bother to send you that much most of the time. the quality of criminals has declined due to drugs, i think.

Re: Missouri Based Envelope Stuffing Schemes...
Ok, I recieved info in the mail today and thought it was pretty interesting. I, like many of you, want to make "easy" money so I decided to google this gentleman. You all have mentioned his name as Lance M. I have even looked at some of his responses and really wanted to give him and the company the beneifit of doubt.
My problem is the name that I received was "Mike Johnson, Nationally-Known Financial Expert". I googled him and nothing. The address this company...you guessed it!!! 107 SE 291 Hwy #189; Lee's Summit, MO, 64063. I am sorry, you make your money however you do and there may be some legit offers he has. But, if you want to take the skeptism away, you wouldn't keep having the same address with different company names and different people listed as the "expert". Sounds scamish to me. I was going to try, but no way now. |
Re: Missouri Based Envelope Stuffing Schemes...
yep I just received from Mike Johnson, same address,Financial research,107 se 291 Hwy#189, Lee Summit Mo. The add is nothing about stuffing envelopes, it is guaranteed, (ha ha) yes they make $ on the S&H is there any positive feedback on this at all? Hey Mike Johnson contact me and prove teh system I'm waiting,

I began buying information from that company seven years ago and have a nice library full of their information. The information is sound and very helpful to me. These are tools to help you if you have the desire and ****** to pursue in some cases. In other cases it is information to be
wiser. Sorry I have found no fault in this company and I have spent hundreds of dollars. This man has gone to alot of effort to provide the information and I'm happy with all I've bought and will continue to buy. I'm not some amatuer or hobbyist home worker - I walk the talk. |
Re: Missouri Based Envelope Stuffing Schemes...
I've received mailings from Lance Murkin for years and have never received any that have anything to do with "envelope stuffing"? I have always been treated well by the company, received the products I ordered in a timely manner, and have been delighted with them. This company sells information about making money in the mail order business but doesn't run any kind of envelope stuffing scheme that I've ever seen in all the years I've done business with them. I consider this company to be one of the best when it comes to offering quality products, and teir honesty and integrity is beyond reproach. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who wants good solid information. Anyone who thinks differently is simply misinformed.
|
Re: Missouri Based Envelope Stuffing Schemes...
I have been a customer of these products for about 5 years and have found them to be very informative. I promptly receive my orders and they are as promised. I have NOTHING bad to say about the company!
The amount of research and information contained in the pieces I've received is incredible! They have saved me an immense amount of research time! I receive lots of mailers and info and these are by far the most informative and useful. Mr. Murkin has my business and will continue to have my business into the future. :spin2: Perhaps the burden of proof should lie with the people claiming this is a scam without even trying the product? |
Re: Missouri Based Envelope Stuffing Schemes...
I was shocked when I read this post! I have nothing but good to say about these companies. They have been around direct mail for over 10 years and have always delivered quality information products and money making programs.
Most of the people who posted here CLEARLY have never even ordered any of their products as they describe things that this company doesn't even sell!!! One lady posted that she was glad she found this site because it saved her from sending her money to a scam and then THE SAME LADY posted no less than a month later attacking Mr. Murkin personally and claiming she never got a refund after sending her money and asking for a refund from over a year earlier! GEEZ - WHAT A NUT JOB! How can you say your glad you didn't send your money and then a month later claim you sent money and haven't gotten a refund from the company in over a year! This exactly the kind of crap that is wrong with the internet and this kind of open forum - people can just LIE and make things up and no one stops them from posting it for the entire world to see! All you people are so convinced these are scams but there is absolutely no proof of it anywhere in your posts. This company sells money making information and systems. Thier ads may be hyped up but everything in this money making industry is hyped up. They DO NOT sell envelope stuffing scams! I have 2 books from them about how to make money by mailing envelopes and they teach you how to make money in the mail order business and in fact debunk the myth of envelope stuffing completely! A book about making money mailing letters or a system about making money by mailing reports is NOT an envelope stuffing scam! There are some of us in the 'inner circle' of mail order that have made money for many years selling this companies mailing lists and dealership offers. At one time Mr. Murkin even wrote many articles in the inner circle publications and had a monthly column in the Mail Order Marketing News published by TJT Marketing. In closing, I just want to say that I have been very pleased with the quality of the information and programs from this company. I think you people who have never ordered anything from this company need to keep your opinions to yourself until you actually know what your talking about. |
Re: Missouri Based Envelope Stuffing Schemes...
I don't know what you guys have been drinking, maybe motor oil? :spin2: Lance's products have helped me time and time again. Looking at the amount of posts some of you have made I feel sad for you that you spend all that time working yourself up over this stuff. If you don't like something then don't buy it. But to devote your life to complaining about it! Really! Anyways, it is your life so do as you will. I can vouch for the products I have received from the various companies listed in in this thread. I talk to Lance all the time. He almost always answers the phone and when he doesn't he calls back promptly. I am pretty sure he doesn't travel to far from home because he works so much. Maybe a 4 or 5 mile radius. But I digress, the products work if you work. Money does not just appear by doing nothing.
Regards, Bob "The Bob" Berkowickz ps - sorry for the large print, the eyes are going out on me. |
Re: Missouri Based Envelope Stuffing Schemes...
I have had a good experience with this company. I have no complaints!

Re: Missouri Based Envelope Stuffing Schemes...
I was treated well by company and nothing I got had anything to do with envelope stuffing.

Re: Missouri Based Envelope Stuffing Schemes...
These posts made me mad when the jerk that is obviously Lance Murkin pimped Lance Murkin scams. Lance Murkin runs ALL the companies above, even though he probably would deny it. Save your money. They're scams and he's scum.

Re: Missouri Based Envelope Stuffing Schemes...
I've kept an eye on this for some time because i've bought things from some of the companies you listed - from magazines and some by mail - and i wondered what others would say.
it's weird that some people are flaming ths company while others have had a good experience. i totally don't get why there are 2 completely different takes on this. anyway, i thought i'd stop lurking and finally throw in my 2 cents. i first bought from this company last year. i saw their ad in a magazine and sent away 30 bucks. what I got wasn't a Charles Dickens, but it did have a good system. i chose not to work it, because i was working on trying my hand at affiliate marketing, but i didn't feel scammed. I got what I paid for. then they mailed me some other offers. I ignored most of them, but there was one that look interesting, so i sent away for it.Got it right back and it was good info. worth my money. so maybe i haven't bought the things you're complaining about. I dunno. all i know is that i've bought some stuff from one of the addresses in your list - and i had a good experience. if you didn't like what you bought, did you try to send it back? did you contact the company? I don't like everything I buy, but i don't think thosse companies are scams. I bought a toaster at Wal-Mart that didn't work - and got a little run-around on getting a refund - but I don't think Wal-Mart is a scam. anyway, i just see lots of complaining and whining in here. I like to visit to do some due diligence before i buy things - but i get tired of the bashing, whining, and complaining. scam.com is a good resource, but all of the b**ching gets old. anyway, i'm off to see a movie with my best gal pal.
