Barclay Enterprises

Posted 11-16-2007 at 01:31 PM by Priority1bc
Barclay Enterprises spent over a year defending the Panasonic OEM keypad made for the KX-TGA200b and KX-TGA400b phones. Even though these keypads had a 100% failure rate (most failed within a year) and Panasonic never made any improvements, Barclay Enterprises advertised that Panasonic HAD indeed made improvements to their keypad.

Old and new keypads were visually identical, the part number printed on the pad never changed and the defects were obvious to the naked eye. This was a complete and intentional lie! Worse yet, they lured customers in with a 2 year keypad warranty knowing that most would not last 2 years. Abuse was excluded from their warranty and if you dug deep enough in their policy you would find a fictional cause "spittle" that gums up the keypad... it was considered abuse from people eating while talking on the phone and voided the warranty. The spittle excuse is laughable to anyone knowledgeable with rubber keypads. There is NO WAY for external fluids to get inside the sealed rubber keypad. The oil is from the keypad itself, one of the two major reasons the keypad failed and they knew it.

Barclay Enterprises scammed literally hundreds of customers with promises of an improved keypad when they absolutely knew it was not true. All while harassing the only company that did offer a real solution to the problem. This included personal attacks, fabricated stories and problems with our services. Researching company employees and posting personal pictures on their web site. Automated phone calls to our tool free number (a crime). Forging Federal documents and illegally claiming to be FCC authorized to repair phones.

Now they copied our old repair technique (the one they viciously attacked for over a year) and claim to have the only one. Another completely intentional lie to confuse customers. While Barclay was scamming customers and lying to them about improved keypads we were working on a true improved keypad. Soon after our release of the worlds only improved keypad for these model phones, Barclay copies our old technique claiming it is not just the only improved keypad but better than all other improved keypads. If only people took the time to read!... Barclay Enterprises own advertisements prove them a fraud time and time again.

What's sad is that there is absolutely no protection for the customers. Ebay does not care if sellers lie in their advertisements (even if it is obvious) SquareTrade buyer protection service is no better. Even the BBB offered great resistance to even look at the problem of forged federal documents and blatant lying in advertisements.

Why not reply Chris and Rick?

 Hello, Chris and Rick Barclay... I know you've been here and read my post. Instead of complaining about it you can easily register and post a comment here with your side of the story... but that's not your style is it? You prefer to work in the background defending your tactics in private. Why is that?
